Purchased DDO store Rogue Sullivan Tiehl..
Tried to get him to unlock a door... would not open...
Reported bug that the Rogue Sullivan Tiehl was unable to open doors.

Got a response that it was a known bug and is under investigation
So went to the forums and did a search....
after looking at OP's post looks like he was broken 7 months ago.

... and yet he is still broken and available to waste money on in the DDO store...

That is really sheet. I could even be okay with the lost 40 TPs, but the 15 minutes of rage trying to imagine why he cannot open the lock, that would really get me mad.

That's pretty ****. Do other rogue hirelings work? I was thinking of picking one up for traps.

Devs any reason why something that's been broken this long hasn't been removed from the store so your customers don't keep buying something that is defective?

Other rogues I have tried work pretty well. Problem is, when you take a warforged rogue hireling, and a warforged sorcerer hireling, and try for 5 minutes, cursing and spiting blasphemys, to have the sorcerer disable the traps. It. Just. Does. Not. Work. Believe me.
