Has anyone notice that its harder to charm Drow, now that they changed the SR system?

Yes, it was detailed in the U8 release notes. Try using spells/abilities/skills that do not need SR checks (e.g. stuns), or needs only one SR check to take effect (e.g. Otto's Irresistable)
