Character Transfers TO Orion/Cannith EVER?

I know, its been asked SO many times. But isn't it time? I have Characters on 4 Servers. I've been watching the Auction Houses, the Pawn Shops. There is now (and has been) VERY little difference now between economies. Same prices on Tomes, same on Generic Boss Beaters (khopesh for example) etc. So whats the block now? Why are we STILL holding people back? I'd like to bring a couple of My Sarlona Characters to Orion. Please? I've been consistently playing on Orion now since its inception. My question?

Will it EVER be possible to transfer Characters from the standard Servers to Orion/Cannith?
Can I get a REAL answer and not speculation?

I started playing DDO on Cannith when Turbine started the f2p thing. I chose Cannith because it was a new, non-transfer server. I figured everyone would be in the same boat equipment wise and would provide a balanced playing field. I believe it has, but enough time has passed that most people on Cannith have "caught up" with the other servers. Not like anyone who transfers will be any more powerful than a well geared Cannith toon. I dont see any reason to not open open it up.

Been on Orion when it was labeled the newbie friendly,I support a select population I dont want a massive lag march. I dont mind taking some but dont make us into Kyhber.

According to it, there's no restrictions on world transfer. So Cannith and Orien are open for transfer...

Well, it would APPEAR that As of December 16, 2010 they have reopened Character transfers after a lengthy ban on it for upgrade reasons (European I would guess). I went though the online app for it and it looks like they WILL allow these transfers now, but I have not yet sent/paid/finished the app it just let me select my server and Orion/cannith as a receving server. I guess they didn't want to make a full anouncement about it to avoid some sort of Mass move backlash. (pure speculation).

Thanks Flav for that info! I'll be applying once I settle in after a move to see if it does indeed follow though. Please anyone post if it truly works?

There was an announcement and a confirmation about the availability of Orien and Cannith, when they re-opened it for a few days last month.
