Last night on my spellsinger running IQ quests I noticed the ticks ranging +2-12 instead of +2 or +4 per tick while defending the ego ball.

Watching the increased SP return was nice but I didn't bother to try to figure out what caused the surplus. Anyone know off the top of their heads, or do I need to look around more and maybe try to figure it out on my own?

If you're referring to "Finding the Path", on normal, the Orb of Will will regenerate SP and HP as you stand near it.

That's kind of funny. I don't do those quests often and that was my first solo run on it so I went with normal.

I didn't see any HP ticks on it tho. Does it not show those?

yea in finding the path its normal to get sp back on casual you get a lot on normal still a bit on hard and elite you get nothing anymore.

Sometimes you do get some irregular ticks with spellsinger but thats mainly because of lag or zoning in and out of instances does it also. just leave the spellsong vigor running when you run from the marketplace into the harbor you see what i mean.

I get +4's frequently. I got used to that. I just guessed there was a crit chance per tick or something related to perform check. So when I saw the bigger numbers I think my blinders went up and I thought it might have been along the same lines.

I'm not sure beyond guessing what causes the +4's either tho.
