Has anyone else noticed this?
I was under the impression that it would clear out things such as firewall or cloud kill. Spells that generally would be effected by wind.
I did not think that a "magical sphere that compels all enemies who enter it to dance" would be subject to cyclonic blast's AoE.

Does anyone know if this is as it was intended to be?
It is annoying enough that summoned wind elemental's can blow away friendly firewall's.

I don't know if this is intentional, but why yes it can. And yes, I've had someone's summoned Air Elemental blow out my Dancing Ball.

It was quite funny/odd/whatever. Definitely did not expect it, as I don't use Summoned creatures often, if at all.

How does it work on Blade Barrier?

This video illustrates very much what you'd feel when hit by a cyclonic blast.

Now imagine that same cheerful guy speaking about dispelling firewalls and otto's sphere.

Gust of wind and cyclonic should really only affect "persistant" evocations and conjurations. Mind fog SHOULD be a conjuration anyway so that'd be affected.

Enchantments, Necromancy (if any are persistant) should not be affected.

A few exceptions though, grease wouldn't be affected by wind. Wall of ice and/or ice storm and sleet storm shouldnt be either since they're "weather like" as well.
