Buying TP(not toliet paper)

Would be nice to have an in-game trade of Plat for Turbine Points.

Could be a huge platinum sink. Trade in a million pp for Vale.

I think it might be a bit to close to Turbine sellign platinum though, or at least equating a monetary value to in game currency. I'm not a lawyer, but that sounds like something that should be frowned upon.

I'd love it if I could turn in TP's for platinum though. At least I wouldn't feel so broke.

TP for plat would only make Turbine money, but would probably have a serious negative impact on an economy already flooded with plat.

Plat for TP (or even DDO Store-only items), however, seems really bad for Turbine as it costs them actual money in lost sales (people spending actual money on TP bundles).

I think this is a bad idea.

Even if you only could buy TP from other players (so Turbine doesn't lose any money).

Most ftp-games that allows this have farmers/bots. Think of the following, someone farms 100 Favor for free TP and then sells them to other players for Real money (less than Turbine would charge). Or a player starting two accounts, one which just hits 100 Favor on each server for a total 1000 TP or so and then sells it to himself. Therefore selling from player to player is a bad idea.

Having a merchant selling TP really doesn't make that much sense to me, they already allow us to get TP for free via favor, adding another method will either make it too easy to earn TP that buying them won't matter any longer, or they have to remove/reduce the TP for favor. Doing this will stop new players from enjoying the game, since they won't have the TP to get some Adventures Packs and sticking to this game and spending Money.
