I could really use the +6con and GFL belt, my HP needs some work.
Would anyone running it consider allowing me to pike at the entrance so i can get it.

Im in Australia and my primary time online is +13 hours Eastcoast USA. So very early morning USA time (I am +8/9 GMT). I'm generally online from 4pm my time

I'd appreciate any help :)

Bad idea to pike at the entrance of Sins, since those mobs activate halfway through the quest. *ding* Your party member, AKhet$%9, has died.

Hmm i was told it's a good idea to pike stealth, there and to NOT assist at all

I suppose Invis + Sneak Mode might work... but there would still be the issue of getting from the entrance all the way to the end chest. There's at least 3-4 waves of creates that wouldn't be killed already, unless the FvS came back and cleared those, as well.

What no cleric love? Pretty sure the extra fvs sp doesn't matter when your running a torc and CO :D And it's fun turning cinderspawns in amrath

My wizard can do this easily enough. You may be a stone that gets raised at the end, but we can make your belt happen.

Look for Tobril, Teenie, or Sql in game, no guarantee when I'll be on, but there is a decent chance I'll be available on weekends during the timeframe you stated.

I think its more a matter of the FvS's innate (stacking) DR that leads them to be the one to do lots of these Amrath quests. Clerics have (more) an issue the multiple mobs cleaving at once, and being able to teleport and attack at any given moment.

Not saying Clerics can't do it - Quests are won on player skill, not on Class. Just explaining why FvS tend to, it seems, do it more often.

I'm from Perth, so hey.

Now, why do you need someone to carry you though sins to get that belt instead of just running it?

The OP caught me in game and we gave it a try, 15 minutes later and sadly no belt. (although a large scale more than made up for my time)

We'll have to give it a shot another day dude.

As to why i dont run it... umm 300(ish) HP and AC 28, it would take them all off 2 swings to take me out :) :) ;)

A bit of an exaggeration. Heavy Fort, Stoneskin, and Displacement are your friends.

As I've suggested to other casters new to Amrath, run the quests Invisible. Literally. Invis yourself, and maybe the healer, that is if they're not wading into combat directly. Focus your attention on keeping the party Hasted, Raged, and Displaced.

Can casters do more to help their parties in Amrath than this? Yes. However, for most newer players (to Amrath), this is a good place to start, and to begin learning "the ropes" of these quests.

If you do feel like being proactive, Heightened Webs work wonders.

If you can't solo this on any toon by level 18 with a hireling healer...you might need to LR/GR.

This quest is insanely easy to complete.

What class are you?....300 HP is plenty on casual and the belts drop all the time on casual.

What I highlighted in red......is the single most important and powerful spell in Amarath....and much of the rest of the game where melee is a big concern.......it trumps Wall of Fire tenfold IMO.

Learn how to keep this on everyone and you are golden.....oh and don't forget Haste as well.........no these are not only for the meatshields benefit, they are for yours as well as a caster.

BTW, supreme cleaving High HP barb with hireling healer and intelligent use of invis cickies does this way faster than a FvS with BB...at least for me anyways.

Just as an FYI, the 6 con/GFL belt can drop from the optional side chests as well. When I was getting one of the belts for myself, I had 2 drop during the quest.

If you are going to pike the best way to do it is to hang back at first, then when the item is taken to pick the end fight invis in a corner in that room. Respawns from that point on aren't that big of a deal with invis (if they don't all just get killed), and you won't likely hit red DA running to the end from there.

If for some reason I'm on over the next couple days feel free to ask if I'm running that, I run it all the time, and I don't mind if people pike it. I won't likely log in much over the next week, if at all though, as its exam/final projects/etc time. Evil professors don't seem to want me to to play DDO very much or something.

For those who are wondering why at level 18 a caster like me is not running this myself..

It's because I'm a Tempest ranger not a caster, I'm after the belt to help improve my HP.

If you can help me with that i appreciate it.

You should be able to complete this solo+hireling with a melee as well. Slower than a caster, but still gets the job done. I like the level 18 Bard hireling, personally: have him song you, Displace you, and then *tell him to stay put*. (If he follows you, he gets cleaved up something nasty!) Go forward on your own and deal with the next spawn, and then give him the “all clear, come to me” – at which point he’ll heal you back up to full. Lather, rinse, repeat! Start on casual if necessary to get the hang of it – there’s still drop chances on casual.

The only thing that might be a little squirrelly is your low AC (I’m typically doing this on a guy who is in the mid-60’s while TWF’ing), but I’m guessing Displacement will make up for a good chunk of the gap? If you find you’re going down, you can always sprint back to where your Bard is for a quick dose of healing.
