Considering the upcoming changes to the dilletante feat. I was curious what a Pure FVS Half-Elf with Fighter dilletante would look like.
Something along the lines of Impaqts Superior Soul build: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=243539
but using half-elf and the fighter dilletante benifits.
Dont hesitate to let me know if there are serious draw backs to this.
I just think there HAS to be something to be done with these helves. :)

The Superior Soul (Human) uses TWF Longswords since Sovereign Host grants proficiency and damage Enhancements. Likewise, Elves use TWF Scimitars due to Undying Court proficiency and damage Enhancements (and racial Enhancements too). All the other one-handed martial melee weapons are inferior to these two options so Half-Elf with Fighter Dilettante wouldn't be much of an advantage to TWF.
The advantage of Fighter Dilettante would be proficiency in two-handed martial melee weapons such as Greataxe, Falchion and Maul. However, a THF FvS is most probably going to be inferior dps than a TWF FvS since your Strength isn't going to be ridiculously high like a Barbarian's and you won't have any racial Enhancements like a Half-Orc.
I think the best use for Half-Elf with FvS is to make an Evoker with Fighter Dilettante and solo your way to 12 with THF, buffs and self-heals. Once you get your BB then exchange your Dilettante feat to Paladin and enjoy +5 to all saves while you solo your way to 20. Evoker is really great to play but getting to 12 can be a bit slow if you're just swinging a single Longsword.
