How many times has this happened to you?
WHEN YOU ARE LFG
Log in on a toon of your choice
You do a search for what groups are forming
Find a group you like but they do not need the class your logged in on
You could possibly send a tell and say your switching.
Log out to get the class they need (assuming you have one)
Log in with the new toon and find the spot is filled.
OR
WHEN YOU ARE LFM
You set up an lfm for a mission
After a few folks join you learn what class you still need (let's say rogue)
A player sends you a tell saying he'll switch toons
You wait and no tell comes
So you wait longer than you should have to for something that may or may not happen.
MY SOLUTION
Since you have already chosen what server your on, how hard would it be for the devs to allow us to see what groups are forming at the character selection screen? The mechanics for a lfg button are already in the game, why can't they just add another access point to view it?
