VIP Purchasing Character Slot

I'm a VIP with 10 Characters on one server, but only four of them are enabled.

I have enough TP to purchase the half-orc race and a character slot.

If I purchase an extra slot will I be able to create a new character or will I have to activate one of my inactive characters?

Is there anyway I could play an orc character, with out switching servers, or deleting the six inactive characters?

I am having trouble understanding what you are asking. If you are VIP you should have 10 character slots. If you have 10 character in them you should be able to log into any of them at anytime. If this is the case them buying a character slot will give you a 11th which you can them up a character.

If you are a former VIP now premium with only 4 character slots but 10 characters. Buying an extra slot will give you 5 slots but since you have 10 character you will be allowed to pick 5 of the Characters you currently have.. Much in the same way you did when you downgrades from VIP. In order to to roll up a new character you will need to delete 6 of your 10 characters. After deleting a character to will be brought back to the "pick' your character screen. At which point you will need to select 5 of your characters again. Rinse then repeat till you have one character slot.

^^^^You will also have to do the above if you happen to be one of those VIPs that happen 10+ characters on one server due to server mergers or transfers.

Seams my only solution is to pay for a month, buy half-orc, delete one character and create a half-orc character. Then at the end of the month I can select the half-orc character as one of my active characters.

Now to decide if trying the half-orc is worth another $15 on top of the turbine points.

Indeed you can't create any new characters while having inactive ones.

Optionally you can buy one month of vip and the character slot so you have 11 and need not delete any.
Once the month is over you can choose any five.

Don't forget the 1 month of VIP 500 TPs you'll get with this method.

If you plan to stay Premium from now on, might as well delete the extra chars, activating them each beforehand to gather their resources onto your current active chars. (Or doing the culling during your month of VIP, if you go that route.)

You just missed the 50% sale on char slots. Will probably be a 50% day for Half-Bloods sometime in the coming month. Might add that to your planning as well. ;)
