Does anyone out there know how many points in spot i need per lvl to detect traps?

This depends specifically on the trap itself. A generalized formula that may help you though is the following:

Desired Skill Amount = (Quest Level * 1.5) + Difficulty + 5, Round up

Add +0 for Normal
Add +2 for Hard
Add +5 for Elite
Add +10 for Epic
Add +2 more if the quest is level 16 or higher
For Disable Devices, add an extra 5
