Technically speaking is there any grounds of violating the Code of Conduct by responding to a request for platinum to be mailed to a players in game mailbox in any increment?

to be clear I am asking that: Someone has found a loophole in the CoC and I want to generously send him copious amounts of copper.. and I want to make sure it's legit (at least not a bannable offense to do so)

I should clarify that he specifically ASKED to be sent bids of ddo currency to his mailbox, so really I am only placating his request!

you're allowed to,

pretty sure people are allowed to spam asking for gold.

it's only a more *ingeniously annoying and shady* way of spouting:

PLEASE GIVE ME GOLD by some of the new players

Just make sure that you're nowhere near Delera's Graveyard, and make sure that the Mabar Endless Night Festival isn't running. Just to be sure. :D

Sounds to me like you want to sit there and endlessly send a spammer/gold begger 1 copper emails and fill his mailbox, send a few hundred, send few thousand mails, all with a single copper in a massive nerd-rage for his temerity to send you a mail. If he has only sent you a single mail he has been annoying, but not harrassing you, by what I suspect you want to do in return it is clearly harrasment to me, it violates the following rules:

4. While playing the game or participating in the Dungeons & Dragons Online service, you may not exhibit or partake in generally disruptive behavior causing grief or alarm to other players or degrade the Dungeons & Dragons Online service performance or other players’ client software (for example, deliberately using game bugs or loopholes to disrupt the game).

19. You may not harass other players or Turbine staff, including by way of example, but not limited to, threats, stalking or abuse of others.

Really, to work out if your behaviour will get you banned try to apply it to the real world and consider if someone would call you either creepy or insane because of your actions. The CoC is general enough that points 4 and 19 can cover pretty much any behaviour, read the wording, especially the bit that says: "deliberately using loopholes to disrupt the game", Turbine has their loopholes covered!

With all that said, if you did intend to spam in-game mail to him because he asked for it, it is a funny idea but I sure as heck wouldn't do it!
