I know that there will be many different opinions about this but here goes

What is the gear that all wizards should farm both epic and non-epic as a lvl 20 even if not used all the time

I would assume:
Torq
Gloves of the Glacier
Bracer of the Glacier
Concordant Opp item
Dragontouched of choice or Blue Dragon

Please help me with your knowledge and experience so i can chose to farm the best gear i can get

It really depends on what kind of build you're really aiming at. Suppose that you're a wizard archmage with enchantment focus, you most likely wouldn't try to get the glacier set so bad, only for the sp. Also the torc is a really good item, but u gotta have the sturdiness for make a good use of it, it's worth nothing if u can't heal yourself in any matter or if u got usual under 300 wiz hp. So, you actually need a plan so u can try to fit your equipment in the plan, OR you want the equipment, so you can make a plan out of it ;-)

(1) Curse you for pulling that shield; I've ransacked that quest on my wizard. Which chest was it in? The Kukkakakakamenena one?

(2) Decent setup, though I actually am not wearing my napkin. I swap in +2 DC items most times (Dreamspitter, that flesh-rod for Transmutation, etc.)

(3) Greenblade is worth it if you're casting damage spells; I'd farm one up if you could

(4) You've got some overlap w/ the glacial set and thelis; might be an opportunity to consolidate / simplify there?

(5) What's on your docent?

+5 resist - eldritch
+6 con - tempest
Greater spell pen 8 - Soverign

have one in production
+5 resist - eldritch
spell pen 8 - tempest
hoping for potency but not decided on Sov

- and the shield dropped in the chest in the wildman village where you fight the champion

Decent looking DT, though I wonder about the multiple spell-pen needs. With your CON there you could also easily swap in a Quorforged if you were so inclined.

Spell-pen wise
- Epic torc has greater spell pen 8 - once you make that you won't need the bulk of the others for spell pen
- In the meantime your glacier bracers has normal spell pen 8, that's probably good enough - I wouldn't bother w/ putting it on your DT

I'd probably aim for Greater Potency 7 on the Sov and try to get clickies where possible if you really wanted potency out of a weapon slot. Mine is a Pale Master so I'm using the Mabar docent but prior to that I was running around w/ Sundering Ooze Guard I think.

I'm also using the Mabar cloak because DR 5/good is better than spearblock in most cases, I think.

If the shield was only ASF 10 you could get the arcane sigil in the sov. slot and both free up an enhancement point (you wouldn't need to spend one on composite body) and allow you to use the shield with IMPUNITY. Ha ha ha ...

Sadly, it's 15% - no luck there.

to be honest, i totally missed that i had spell pen on my bracers Oo

but glacier and thelis dont overlap on the metamagics, thelis gives empower, glacier gives maximize/extend

Not on metamagics, but you've got wizardry/magi for days (torc too).

Have a Dreamspitter yet?

If I didn't have a Torc I'd take a look at the Elder's set for arcane lore possibly, but you've got that covered.

Also, don't see Deathblock on a swappy. Your cloak is, I think, the best spot for that ... as long as you can cover your DCs w/ hand-helds. The Mabar cloak is pretty easy to get Deathblock on and it beats losing the Torc.

got deathblock on the GS immunity goggles
blindness imm, poison immun, deathblock, fear immune, poison immune, and slay living guard

Yes i have a dreamspitter but it's not upgraded yet

Also you havent mentioned any epic gear i should look into

Ah yeah, I wasn't being specific enough.

I'd consider the following my first priority:
Epic Greenblade
Epic Torc
Epic Staff of Inner Sight

If you didn't have a greenblade and/or wanted to reserve your hands for other things, I'd go Epic Elder's Cap and maybe Epic Gem of Many Facets for the arcane lore set bonus.

My list for a WF Archmage Evoker/Enchanter 1st tr from sorc

Hat- MinII (+45hp)
Trinket- Head of good fortune (earbug+bauble)
goggles- Concordant Opposition (300sp)
docent- Unlocked Quoforged Docent
belt- Rahkir's Sash
bracers- Glaciers'
gloves-Bramble-casters
ring1-Rahkir's Ring (+2exceptional Int)
ring2- any str+6 ring
Boots- Jump+15 of Featherfall
neck-Torc
cloak- Epic Cloak of Night
Hand1- Skiver
Hand2- Unlocked Deathtouch (Superior Impact IV clickies)

I currently have everything for this layout except the rahkir's ring and the torc, Since this build is going to utilize the evoker spell like abilities (Magic Missile and Chain Missile) and the archmage blast/bolt, I am going to try to rely on that for all my spell dps, hence the lack of a potency item and the reliance on the Superior Impact IV (+75% force damage) clickies for all damage. As it stands I have no epic items, and most everything is relativity easy to get which is why im so happy with the layout. If you really wanted to go easy replace the skiver with a major force lore scepter and the torc with a bard TOD neck and you have essentialy the same setup with out 3 of the hardest to acquire items the third being the Superior Impact clickies.

If im ever fortunate enough to pull a Epic red dragon helm, ill place my FF on there, put on Firestorms, an epic ring of the mire to replace my str ring, and glacier gloves to replace the bramble-casters, my cloak will become my Min 2 item in that case also.

Not a perfect layout, but very good for my build.
