Maybe I'm off track here...maybe playing lowbie quests and skipping lowbie loot for 4 years has sorta made me marginalize what everyone else's experience will be...

So if you loot on +1 str item on your fighter, I'm really truly happy for you, but not really excited that much.

But...if you loot a +1 int item on your fighter, and I'm on my wizard...I'm not so excited for me, even though you are clearly very excited for me.

Now, getting more to the point, if you ask me if I want it, I got no problem with it, even though I completely skipped the chest you looted it from. I can kindly say "No thanks". Doesn't phase me a bit...and doesn't slow me down to do so.

However, am I actually required to run back to the chest to loot it for them, just because they want me to have it? Because that does slow me down. Is this me being rude now? I just told you I don't need it right?

And am I required to sit there, while somebody's spamming trade windows, waiting 5 minutes for them to pilfer through their stuff to find this +1 item of greater sell to vendor bane?

Do I have to be rude...to stop you from incessantly following me to give me your awesome loot? Or would that be me being rude to your rudeness? Is the vet gamer snapping at a noob about this **** always the rude one? Do I have to appease this circumstance every time?

Again, it's not the hospitable nature of a person, and their generous offer. It's the one's who just won't stop until you get that piece of loot from them, 'cause they know how bad you really need it.

Some people get over excited.

Remember if you zerg far enough ahead, he will have no chance to open a trade window.

Yeah, somehow they always end up finding me...I mean I loved Zizoo's Spangle when I was a noob too. But I never insisted on giving it to people.

The worst is the random, unrequested, with no warning trade window.

And it's like...get my name and mail it to me never works for them either...they have to present it in person to you...

Not to mention that all the politeness in the world doesn't make them realize you don't care to spend your few gaming hours a week taking trash loot from noobs. Don't ya'll do enough damage asking me to kick my hireling cleric for a 'real healer', who can't seem to heal any better...and now you're in the quest and I have to either restart or harass you until you leave.
