Okies, I don't post here much (if at all) but I'm suitably annoyed over this issue.

We ran the Accursed Ascenscion tonight (10pm GMT ish), which we completed. In the course of that quest, one of my radience weapons was removed from my inventory somehow.
It may have been disjuncted at some point, I'm not sure, but after we completed the item was no longer in my inventory. I didn't destroy it myself, it was locked in my inventory so I could not do that.
I relogged when I noticed it was missing, to be sure it wasn't a graphical/inventory error, and it wasn't available in the buyback section from the vendor.
I basically got an automated response from a GM 'we can't replace lost items, post a bug report etc etc.'
Hardly great customer service in my opinion.

So I posted a bug report, but have no faith that I will get this item back.

Anyone else every have this problem? And if so, did you get your gear back?

Sorry to have to tell you this, but, you will never ever get it back and you will never ever hear from Turbine about it.

I notified GM, called CS, sent bug report, they kept passing the buck so I finally posted a thread about it in Tech support. The Turbine person who answered told me to report it, great advice since I had just mentioned in the post they were replying to that I had reported it. Didn't exactly instill confidence in me that they would do anything.

Its now been 4 months and no word at all, just give up, they don't care.

That is a disgrace, a lot of this game is grind, what they are saying is you can grind to your hearts content and get the stuff you want but you could lose it due to a bug and we dont care. Where is the incentive to regrind all that and continue playing at all?. Some customer sevice training is in order I think.

I agree, they have a major communications problem within their own ranks.
