View Full Version : Getting Potency/Devotion

Hello all!

My battlecleric needs some help with gearing up, especially since auras are going to be checked with each tick instead of only at the start.

How do I slot in potency/devotion? Shields are out of the question, since it's a battleclonk, not a dorf fighter cleric. Should I be looking at the Shining Crest of St. Markus or a blue Dragonscale robes or something along those lines?

Amrath Potency necklace, Greater potency 7 on DT robes, or just use an Ardor clicky.

or just go with superior ardor 8 clicks (tokalas belt and amaras belt)
or go for a potency kama :P

You don't even need the amrath belts, superior potency VI clickies work just as well, available on clubs/sceptres/etc.

As a Clonk, for solo/party play I recommend the Greater Potency 7 on an Outfit.

For Raid Healing, grab yourself Superior Potency VI, and get some Superior Ardor 8 clickies from Shavarath as and when you can. 75% Clickies should be enough for Raid Healing as and when you need it.

You don't even need the amrath belts, superior potency VI clickies work just as well, available on clubs/sceptres/etc.

That's annoying on a Clonk. Every time you equip a non-Monk weapon, you have to unequip it and go back into stance.

My typical preferences being I tend to favor melee-based divines:

Level 1-4

I do without.


Level 5-9

Mask of Comedy
If Cleric, Divine Blessing set bonus


Level 10-15

Wrath of Sora Kell set bonus
Superior Ardor VI Quarterstaff
Belt of the Seven Ideals
Greater/Superior Potency VI Quarterstaff if I know my melee amount will be low


Level 16-20

Greater Potency VII via Dragontouched if I have such available
Torin's, Shiona's, or Smedgar's Necklace
Superior Ardor VIII from a belt
Superior Potency VI Quarterstaff worst case scenario, swapping as the situation calls
