Yep, no need to inform me that I am posting in the wrong place, I already know. I'm also pretty sure that its my fault, maybe I didn't read something I was supposed to or something, I really am not sure. But anyways, on to my problem. Loading times between areas are great, as they have always been, but I'm having trouble with performance. The game is slow, a bit choppy, and just doesn't run well in play. There is also a weird display glitch that periodically occurs in the form of a weird black blank spot in the sky that is irregularly shaped, and my character disappears while a similar "blot" takes its place. I know what caused the problem, but not the exact reason. I had serious virus trouble and restored my computer to factory conditions. I've had to bring everything back up to where it was (which I've probably not succeeded at) and I'm just trying to figure out what I need to do to get my performance back (was amazing before restore, great speed and everything). Anything I can dl or turn off to help out? I have new security measures in place that could affect performance, but i've disabled and tried then and still did not help.

Someone has already brought up to me that it is probably my RAM, but I'm pretty sure my RAM was the same before I did the system restore. Any other ideas, or is there something I am missing?

Hi, you've probably tried this but have you dropped gameplay graphics to run under directx 9 in the options? There was a system patch involving directx 10 in one of the ddo updates that caused similar probs to what you have desrcibed on some machines. You can get around it by tweaking some graphics settings. Sure there are technical people much more adept with graphics settings who can post. Or might be not having patch causes issue? Could have been lost in restore.
Other than that search web for custom gaming drivers for your nvidia. Not sure about HP but I had nightmares with my manufacturers drivers under Vista untill I got custom ones, saved my Fallout 3 going through the window.

Wish could help more,
V.
