View Full Version : A few Q's about Chr and Radiant servant stuff.

First Question: What effects the radiant servant's healing burst/aura power? Cleric life magic? Cleric prayer of life? Empower healing? Potency? Improved recovery?
Second Question: Divine might 3 requires 18 Chr. So could I start with 14 then eat a +2 tome and get +2 from Cleric enhancements? That would get me an 18 but would it count? I know a +6 item won't do the trick.
Third Question: If two radiant servants group together and both have divine vitality can they patiently replenish each others SP pool?
Thanks in advance...

First Question: All of the above, except for the aura. AFAIK, metamagics do not work on the aura.
Second: Tomes, Base, and level up points are the only things that count for Divine Might.
Third: Yes.

Empower Healing works on Aura, thats the only feats I've seen affect it (Got Maximize, and it has no effect on it)

I just gained RS pt2 on my first character. Is there any strategy involved in knowing when to use it? Right before a battle or in between encounters? Do I need to wade into battles more than I did before?
Thanks!

Empowered Healing and Quicken both effect the radiant aura and the burst. No other meta feats do.
Edit: On a side note Auras from multiple servants will stack. And IMO a Turn Undead Attempt is better spent on an aura that heals over time or a burst effect that heals for mid to high 1000s on a crit then it is to give someone (specially another radiant servant) 20-30 sp.

I've come to the conclusion Divine Might is kind of a waste of character creation points, for the most part its better to add those points of charisma into strength.
I'm using Radiant Servant on a character with base 6 con with no real issues of running out.

It really depends on how you built your character, what difficulty you're running on and a bunch of other things. On my first life as cleric, I couldn't do it, having somewhat low Con and no DR. But now I am a dwarf cleric with DR 5/- from Stonemeld plate and a good 580 HP, I can pretty much stay in the thick of things on virtually any quest.

Quicken + Healing Amp = the new AC :)
I've said this in another thread, but its easy to see why when your own Positive aura bursts hit you for 250HP+ without a crit and is uninterruptible.
