View Full Version : Eberron Dwarf Tossing League

My wife started the Eberron Dwarf Tossing League on Argonnessen back in early 2009, and I've been running it there since mid-2010. I recently decided to spread my wings and bring some airborne dwarven antics to Ghallanda. The guild is still very low level, but I'm hoping to see it grow quickly.

This guild has no strict rules, no recruiting requirements, and no bizarre policies. Officer status is easy to attain. The atmosphere is friendly. Alts coming in from other servers are welcome, and there's no minimum activity requirement.

If you're interested in helping to build a friendly guild from the ground up, send Stickfinger a tell or mail in-game (on either Argo or Ghallanda), reply in this thread, or shoot me a Private Message here in the forums.

A guild website is in the works as well. Right now, it's not much, but I'm working on a "useful info" wiki. You can check it out at http://edtl.guildlaunch.com if you're interested.

LOL! To a Euro, the idea of a dwarf "tossing" guild with a guildleader called Stick(y)finger is just a bit too much!

I'm suspecting a slight cultural difference in language and understanding here, but nonetheless thanks for a good laugh!!

It's not a cultural or language difference, so much as it's the fact that I'd never really thought about it in those terms. Thanks for bringing a little humor to a long Friday trapped in cubicle hell.

In my own defense, we don't do aberrant things to the poor dwarves, we just throw them. ;)

Somewhat related: Halflings are the practice dummies. I own the guild's charter member of each species over on Argo, and at least one of the two here on Ghallanda.

I beg to differ, my good halfling. We toss dwarves on a regular basis. Only after practicing with your kind, though. >.<

As long as the dwarves are consenting, I can't see a problem to it.

More questionable, however is the use of "Gust of Wind" to blow halflings.
