Is there some sort of thing that happens when you roll a toon, where the game decides then and there that this toon will grab golden loot anywhere they happen to quest, and others will get junk regardless? Sounds crazy I know, but even using loot bonus jewels, it seems like I have two toons, one who seems to grab 10 pure water and feverbranches an hour, and another who thinks its christmas morning when any of the above drops. Case in point, the one toon nabbed THREE small ebberon shards in succession, on three quests one right after other. None of these quests were on any difficulty other then norm. Same exact quests, other toon, except with elite, grabbed nothing even remotely valuable.
Granted, these were low level harbor quests, but, still, there seems as though there is no logical rhyme or reason to what kind of loot drops and for whom. End rewards are even more bizarre, I routinely get better end rewards on lower difficulty settings then on harder settings. Is this intentional, are some toons getting deliberately shafted, or is it really all random? Just seems a little absurd, like the case above, that a easier quest ends up netting better loot then a harder quest does. If it is some sort of a flaw in the game, it really should be fixed, since constantly getting crappy loot after a tough quest can really make for a depressing, less fun game experience. I don't mind working for the reward, but, come on, it should be equal to the difficulty, not hand out nicer stuff to toons completing the exact same quest on easier settings.
Making me think that those Jewels of Fortune are a joke, and don't really do anything special.
