What quest is this???

After reading the thread about the various fog spells being broken i went searching for a video that might show how solid fog worked when we used to spam the scrolls of solid fog and cloud kill to loot run "Purge the fallen Shrine."
Sadly I have thus far not found a representation of that but did happen upon the below video. Now I have been playing since the first week of retail launch in march of 2006. But for the life of me I can't place the end fight to a specific quest. Portions of the video appear to me to be "The Xorian Cypher." But the end fight doesn't even look remotely familiar to me. What Quest is this?????

Judging by the UI in the video it was recorded some years ago, so most probably the quest may not be in the game anymore. It's a pity you can't read the text at the top of the quest info box.

The text looks like it says "Into the Maw of Xoriat." It shows up in the Compendium as a story arc, but ddowiki has nothing on it, so I'm assuming it's no longer in the game/has been redone/renamed.

"Purge the Fallen Shrine" is a side quest in Sands of Menechtarun, northeast from the Tomb of the Wizard King, in a small valley along the wall.

Defeat the Inevitable before it opens the gate to Xoriat

It was used at the 2005 Gen Con, if I recall correctly.

This was late-alpha/early-beta.
If I'm correct in remembering - not only was this mini-quest shown at GenCon, it was also used at PAX 05 as a challenge to win closed beta keys as a party if you could beat the Marut.

I was an Enforcer (volunteer) at PAX 05, but was too busy to get to the Turbine booth to try my hand at winning a key. Good thing Turbine gave all us Enforcers beta keys anyway - and I'm still here. :D

Thanks everyone for the answer. I never played alpha/beta so I guess that's why I didn't recognize it. The look of the shrines and interface does bring back memories.
