SPOILER WARNING: Mention of some tactics and screenshots ahead.
Third time in - first was at level 8 with a retired permadeath toon. Died within a few seconds at the start. Decided to get some holy handwraps before trying again...
Went in again at level 11 (Cleric 9/Monk 2) and died fighting Blood Plate. Respawned back in an alleyway somehow, made my way back to notice some odd behaviour from this critter - when using my holy handwraps he would whack the stuffing out of my character. But when using a cursespewing kama of pure good and an improved cursespewing kama he seemed to forget to fight back every few seconds...that felt a bit cheap though. Died again unwilling to cheap this guy down, got picked up for an Invaders PUG and forgot about it.
Went back in at level 13 tonight, moderately prepared - Blade Barrier, a Greater Potency VI staff, +4 Holy Handwraps of Deception, Improved Cursespewing wraps, Weakening of Enfeebling wraps, with an average combat AC of 43. Used an arbitrary amount of Barkskin potions. Explored the Marketplace and all of the NPCs, though I neglected to save some of the Stormreach guardians - figured that anyone able to sleep in the midst of a Devil invasion must be having some *very* important dreams :D.
Established a pattern of whacking down everything but the Bearded Devils, instead using Cursespewing on them first, gathering a few, Greater Commanding them, then hitting Divine Favor and Divine Might to get some hits in while they were eye level with my Halfling. Experimented using Weakening of Enfeebling handwraps on them, but it took just as long to knock em down as using the Holy wraps.
Eventually I realised that completing the optional kill counts weren't providing any more storyline, so proceeded onwards to the Phoenix. Blood Plate was much less troublesome - killed off his minions with a Blade Barrier, and performed percussive maintenance upon his armor. Took about 4 waves including the first...though I must admit at the end I cheaped him down with the Shuriken from STK. It wasn't very civil, but neither is Cleaving at a Halfling when you're naked. *Shudder*. Took a pic of his demise before realising that wasn't the end of the quest :D
Onwards! Razor Arm was a cinch compared to Blood Plate. Of course, he was polite enough to stay clothed, and to only summon a few minions at a time. DPS lag made this part a little confusing though, as he would continue to sustain hits and talk after he had teleported. It also took me about 10 minutes to realise he wasn't going to stop bringing henchies...
The tent appeared bigger on the inside than it did on the outside...and the Abishai were a bit of a let down challenge-wise compared to the Orthons (but perhaps more appropriate to a level 6 raid). Casting a Blade Barrier in panic I was surprised when they stopped fighting after a few seconds. Eh. I proceeded to loot some barrels while they started yelling some Captain Planet stuff about joining up, managing to miss the transformation and suddenly be Overrun whilst crate-smashing. That wasn't very nice. Thankfully, the conjoined Abishai Power Ranger seemed to be very focused on spells with reflex saves. So it was something akin to a training dummy, albeit a ridiculously tall one...except that occasionally there would be Bearded Devils running around and doing slicey things to my Clonk.
Suumolaades doesn't seem all that bad of a chap really.
Nearly forgot my end chests! Pulled two of the green gem thing. Also, I got distracted by the tent blowing up and forgot to take a screenie of the actual completion :D. I estimate it at about 2 hours, including two full sweeps of the marketplace and a smoke break on top of the Twelve Outpost. One death in the Marketplace - I re-entered thinking the timer had reset, but it had not.
Looking forward to trying this on Hard and Elite!
