I have found some pretty ancient builds mostly dealing with Self heals and dealing with the some lower abliltys to cast spells.

But will i have enough skill points end game to make it matter about me lock picking or undoing traps.

I'm assuming you're talking about the classic 18 wiz/2 rog combo. Provided you keep search and disable max'd at every level you shouldn't have any problem finding/disabling traps. However, having never played a rogue type character in end game content, perhaps someone else can confirm?

As for locks, you might have more trouble. I've played a wiz/rog up to mid levels and found that locks can be a challenge as I haven't wasted (imo) APs on open lock. You can try the knock spell. When I took my second rog level (at character level 10) I put leftover AP into open locks. With buffs and an escape item I've gotten up to a open lock DC of 27. Could probably go higher if I really tweaked it. Not sure what lock DCs get up to though.
