Spell description: Deals 2d4 negative energy damage plus 1 per caster level every 2 seconds. Undead are healed by the aura.

Did some testing on my level 14 Wizard and there are some bugs with the damage/healing.
Palemaster II adds 35% to neg damage (I'm specced into this) along with Lich form so the Death Aura heals.

Base damage/heal range should be 16-22 (1+1+14 min and 4+4+14 max) which is 21.6-29.7 counting the 35%.

Observed heal ticks are from 12 to 20 which corresponds to 2d4 plus 1 damage per TWO caster levels. ie in my case (2d4 + 7)*1.35.

Casting Death Aura then equipping a superior Nullification V item (Witching Hour) lowers heal range.
Observed range: 11-18 (vs 12-20 with nothing equipped).

Equipping Sup Nul V item (Witching Hour) then casting Death Aura results in a heal range of 16-27. Using the 1 damage per two caster level formula this matches correctly, although the range gets truncated not rounded.
(2d4 + 7)*(1 + 0.35 + 0.50) = 16.65 - 27.75

If I remove the Witching Hour (either to another weapon or no weapon at all), the aura goes back to 12-20.

If I reequip it, it drops to the 11-18 mentioned above.

If I swing the weapon (then stop swinging) the heal goes back to 16-27.

Swinging a weapon (even with no weapons, just swinging) the heal range drops to 2-9!.
As soon as you stop swinging the heal range goes back to 12-20.
