View Full Version : Kukan-Do + Manyshot + Slayer Arrows

I just made up this build I'm naming.. "Unbalanced", which fits in more ways than one.

1sorc,1ranger,18monk ELF

1) Drop down and Kukan-Do you, ranged, high DC.
2) Abundant Step to a good spot away from you.
3) Whip out their STR or CON damage bow.
4) Manyshot!
5) They have Slayer Arrows too.
6) They also have Improved Evasion.
7) Grasp the Earth Dragon (stun immune)
8) Monk Spell Resistance!

Instruction Notes:
At 1sorc take "Sorcerer Energy of the Dragonblooded I".
Then take 1ranger for Bow Strength.
18monk, using feats for getting Manyshot.
Kukan-Do: (DC = 10 + Charisma Modifier + your monk level)
That's a 28 DC minimum.
At level 20 you're an AA w/ Slayer Arrows.

You should definitely roll this up and shoot everyone in PvP.

I do, but they can boost their CHA up easy. Anyway, think of the squishies.

Not everyone has a high fort. Zen Archery and they're supposedly centered with longbows and shortbows.

You're chasing down this "ranger" to Dance him because you're a brave soul and he Abundant Steps away.

The master kiter, ect. Master ganker. The Unbalanced. Cool names but Turbine should nerf this possible build.

make a build with 3 monk so you can grasp of the earth dragon and make youself immune to the stun and take the deflect arrows feat to help avoid the many shot.

Oh an cow-can-kill-you is a will save , not a fort save.
add a pair of stunning wraps and that 28 minimum becomes a 38.

I just wanted to point that out. Its PvP so who gives a horses patutti but at least its on level.

Good point about the stunning wraps btw, forgot about them. So, 45ish DC save or take manyshot to the face and die.

For the build, well, +6 con item/toughness item/GS hp item/GFL gets us above 450 and into instamurder range. I'm sure it could be made better, but hey.

I'd suggest anyone on sarlona who doesn't like a elf monk they have to spend the 1mil plat and LR+3 into this, just for the heck of it.

you need to follow these simple instructions.


Click Start menu
-Click All Programs
-Select your DDO folder
-Click on Unistall Wizard
-Click "Yes" on the Popup

I'll just make a TR'd Wizard take the passed life feat take all force enh load up on potency and force crit wait till your not looking and blow a dozen holes into you....I win.

I wouldn't want to play it. I'd hate leveling it even more.

If I wanted to Slayer Arrow somebody I'd roll a regular 20ranger and give up at lvl 18.

I dropped the sorc for fighter to get in PL sorc. I mean, it was designed for your sorc.

Actually monk AA seems kinda interesting with the new bow deal. You'd be pulling some wacky stunts at any rate. Might be stretching the enhancement points. I'd give it an experimental try at least, maybe as a solo guy.
