Metalline of Greater Evil Outsider Bane - Harry Beater?

Just picked up a metalline rapier of greater evil outsider bane to deal with trash in the vale. Then I got to wondering, is this a harry beater too? Anyone?

Not unless you're a level 20 pure Paladin, no. It needs Good + Silver.

If it's made of Flametouched Iron, yes. Otherwise, it's only a DR breaker in the hands of a capstone paladin.

It's worth a small fortune, however, exactly for the reason that it is so good in a capstone pally's hands. Even if it's only +1, it's still effectively a +5 holy silver of pure good to a Pal20.

While it doesnt bypass all of harry's DR it doesn't mean it isn't viable vs harry. On norm his DR is laughable anyway.

A +1 met of PG does 2d6 +4 (11 ave) damage less than +1 of GEOB. That's almost as much as the lost DR, and that's before I build in the crits.

So yes, 15 is no big deal, it can easily be made up in other ways.
