or maybe even 19/1 FvS/fighter? (but FvS capstones are ridiculously good)
Definitely want to play with a half-orc... Definitely using THF (I have a Min II greataxe)
I'd like to be able to cast, heal, and even melee at little...
34 point build
If cleric/fighter
STR 18
DEX 8
CON 15
INT 6
WIS 18
CHA 6
If FvS
STR 18
DEX 8
CON 14
INT 6
WIS 17
CHA 11
Feats I must have:
Maximize
Quicken
Feats I really want
Power Attack
Toughness
Empower Healing (Empower if I go FvS)
Heighten
Spell Pen
Greater Spell Pen
This works for the cleric/fighter 19/1 (8 feats), but I was hoping to go pure FvS instead for the wings and DR at cap, more SP, searing light capstone, etc.
What feat can I give up if I go pure FVs?
Can I live without the Greataxe proficiency as a pure FvS?
Everything is pointing me to 19/1 cleric/fighter... but I've played that already.. I've never played a FvS before, and I'd like to give it a try.

On my Evoker FvS I went with Spell Focus: Evocation over Spell Penetration. I haven't had a lot of issues most of the time (Hellcats being the major exception) since I mainly use damaging spells, if that helps.
All said, I think I'd go Cleric. Pump CHA up a bit to use at least Divine Might 1 and splash a level of Barbarian for more Power Attack and faster running (and Sprint Boost!). The Cleric would have the better DPS.

Half-orc and FvS really don't go well together - halforcs want to use two-handed weapons in melee, FvS's want to use one-handers (unless they are WF).

Why not 18 FvS / 2 Monk? On your 2 Monk levels, you can take two Martial Arts feat. Eg, Toughness and Power Attack

I would glady give up FvS Capstone for more Feats and Evasion! :D:cool:

I guess the question would be how you want to play the caster part. What offensive spells you see yourself using.
If you are planning on using Searing Light capstone, Implosion, and Searing Light spell along with Archon for most of your casting offense you can likely do without Greater Spell pen since those spells don't have a resist check.
If you want to limit yourself to mainly those types of spells, you can get away without the penetrations and have your Great Axe feat pick as well.
Without sacrificing something like spell selection though, it's going to be tough to meet the requirements of Greataxe + HalfOrc + Caster oriented FSoul.
Personally I think you should try to make your FSoul fit. Why take a class combo you've already done unless you just want to TR your current one for some improvements on it.
