A Final Fairwell to +1 Items

I have been playing this game long enough, that as I TR on Wednesday, I will only be wearing +2 stat items at level 1. Thats right...

+2Str Bracers
+2Dex Gloves
+2Resist Cloak (+2 Cha Cloak if needed)
+2Wis Ring
+2Con Necklace
+2Int Helm
10% Striding Boots
Ring of Feather Fall
+4 Reflex Goggles
Small Guild Gem of Health Belt (+10 HP)
Crude Bauble (L. False Life, Int +3, L. Fort)

Ok...I have 1 +1 Mithral Fullplate, but I have +2 Mithral FP at level 2...I guess I can suffer :D

....and don't get me started at my complete set of +3's at Lvl 5 (Thank you for binding tangleroot rewards to account) :cool:

All while wielding +1 Silver Greataxe at level 1, Maelstrom at level 2 and Carnifex at level 4.... :p

Ahhhhh....Can't wait till Wednesday :eek:

...and can't forget:

+5 Disable Gloves
+5 Search Goggles
+5 Open Lock Gloves

+1 tomes for every stat at level 3 (have 3 of the +2's needed at lvl 7, so I guess this is where I'm a slacker :o

....and all the Potions I can drink and then some :cool:


Sorry Im bragging, but I have just spent the last 2 days leveling up toons on every server for the DDO points and am so happy to come back home to Ghallanda and not slum it anymore...lol

i didnt bother with any low lvl stat items, just +2 tomes and 1 mil plat for pots as i level up, and of course all the bta weapons/armors needed, no stat items tho as they are not needed till lvl 9 (tangleroot favor = +4 to each stat at lvl 4) and seriously, you dont need gear or tomes to get 1-4 even on a double tr like all mine. you should pay more attention to the endgame and not the first few hours lol, get your +2 tomes and +4 stat items from lvl 9+ as that is where you will start to slow down on your leveling :D

Silver at level 1? All of those vampires and barbazu in Korthos are going to run screaming in fear. Wouldn't it be better to have adamantine for the iron defenders there and in the harbor.

Iron defenders don't have DR :\

I believe on hard or elite they start having it. As well as once you hit the Marketplace.

Wednesday is U7 Update day! Even if you are waiting for that shiny half orc or half elf, personally I would hold off till Thursday in case they need to toss a critical hotfix in place. It would suck to get to work on a TR and for some wacky reason have a database rollback... not trying to Doo00oo000om you but it could happen.

Yeah the +1 Silver Greataxe is a bit weak (Silver not needed and all), but its looks better than a +1 greataxe. Level 2 will come fast enough. :D

But your right, the first few levels fly, so most of the gear may not be necessary, but remember, you can start straight on Elite after U7, so things like descent to hit bonuses, armor and shield clickies may save you a few party wipes on Elite.

Its his 2nd TR, so I have all the good stuff waiting back when he levels....Shroud items, raid loot, etc...

I just think this run through from the beginning is gonna be a bit of a different experience....Elite everything :cool:
