Default browser with launcher links

Hello,

everytime I click on a menu item in the launcher, or on any of the links in the news, the link is opened with IE. This is rather annoying.

Is it possible to configure the launcher so that is uses the system defualt browser instead?

actually i don't know but guessing they hard coded iexploder out of laziness...
