Though numerous EVON6 runs I find myself end up with almost 20 red scales and a red dragon shard, so the thought of crafting a red dragon armored popped into my mind.

And now I’m at a loss as to which one of my toon to craft it for, currently I have the following

20 Human Cleric
20 Human Favored Soul
Both are caster specced, contemplating reincarnate Cleric into 18/2monk after some grinding out more abbot gear

20 Human Warchanter (classic rocker build)
Currently using epic fighting leather from OOB, which I find to be functionally satisfactory (but visually appalling)

20 WF Wizard
TRed from Soc, plan to TR again with wiz PL feat to maximize enchantment DC

20 WF Barbarian
Currently using useable DT, DoD and upgraded mindsunder Docent

18 Pal/2Mk Drow
AC Hate tank
Currently finesse rapier build wearing ICY, Plan to 2nd TR to human with kps for more DPS/HP
“may” decide to change to pure 20 Armor twf Pally/Fighter

15 Human Monk
Currently have both dodge and luck of hero(yes, gimped I know), so I can test out both light/dark monk, currently using icy

My thought process:
Cleric/Favored Soul
Don’t see any significant benefit from changing to red dragon armor
The Cleric will eventually end up with either ICY or some DT armor, and FvS will prob be using DT armor or upgraded mindsunder robe for the evocation DC

Wizard
Once again, planning to grind out DT with greater Spell Pen 8, don’t see any significant benefit of red dragon docent

Barbarian
Currently plan to grind out DT with
10/20% healing amp + guard when tanking with healer
10/20/30% incite when tanking with repairer and really strong DPS in group
5 resis/guard/guard more generic DT for half sleep shroud runs
I see a lot of WF barbs running around in red dragon docents, how much of a DPS increase does red dragon provide?

Pal/Mk
I see a net loss of AC if switching from icy to red robe, so unless I decided to TR to an armored tank. I don’t see any benefit
Even if I do decided to TR to a pure armored tank, Red plate don’t provide any AC over DT with 3 dodge unless I get the titan ring which may elude me for a long time

Monk
Currently running around in gianthold with 45~50ish AC which is very useful. I’m sure this will change once I get into vale/reaver
Don’t expect to reach relevant AC at end game, so I can see some DPS gain here from red robe. I can’t really quantify

So…after the wall of text above, for those of you who are still reading
how can I best utilize my red scales?

Red dragon docent for Barb?
Red dragon robe for Monk?
Hang on to those till later use?
Trade away the scales?

It's at its finest on a heavy armor AC tank that aims to always have aggro. (It's the highest AC armor in the game).

Second best on a TWF melee DPS that sometimes has aggro and sometimes does not (e.g. a barbarian or fighter, or unusual FvS builds like my main); THF close behind

Third best on a TWF melee that tries to avoid aggro (most rogues, rangers and monks; many bards and FvS's); TWF a bit behind

Next comes arcane casters.

Last of all - non-melee support toons that seldom have aggro (healbot cleric/FvS, offensive caster cleric/FvS, most Spellsingers).
