Stored for historic reasons.

Tired of casters and archers not running through your blade barriers?
Don't want to explain that you can't heal because you are a "melee build"?

Here is a build that should provide strong melee with strong casting. Heals can only be beaten by a pure healer and melee will be enough to clean up those **** blade barrier dodgers. Grab yourself a stack of heal scrolls and you won't even need mana to clear out the last half of a dungeon.
Best of all, your offensive spells will still hit well. With the healing enhancements, your harm lines do more damage and your destruction, slay living, implosion and the like will have the DC to hit in most areas. They may not beat a pure offensive build but you will give any other build a run for its money.

This is the completionest version; the 36 point version is posted as "The 'Angelic Assault' build"

Any and all input is welcome.

Here are the stats based on what I have in hand, once I get things like exceptional stats and +4 tomes they will go up (I hope).

34 Str (16 base +2 comp +2 tome +6 itm +1 lotd +3 exc +4 level up)
20 Dex (9 base +2 comp +2 tome +6 itm +1 lotd)
28 Con (15 base +2 comp +2 tome +6 itm +1 lotd +2 en)
20 Int (9 base +2 comp +2 tome +6 itm +1 lotd)
32 Wis (15 base +2 comp +2 tome +6 itm +1 lotd +2 en +3 exc +1 level up)
28 Cha (12 base +2 comp +2 tome +6 itm +1 lotd +3 en +2 capstone)

I'd suggest maxing your casting stat to 18, by dropping con to 14 and cha to 10. 20hp more or less is no big deal when you already have 400+ and can heal everything in one spell, and with 10 cha you can still hit 19 with only enhancements and a +2 tome (10 base +2 completionist +2 tome + 3 fvs cha +2 fvs capstone). A +3 tome saves you 6 AP.

This would allow you to add 2 pts to wisdom. If you add all your level ups to wisdom, you could hit a 38 wisdom, with the loss of +1 to hit/damage, 20hp, and a couple spell points. IMO, if you are going to offensively cast, you are going to want the extra 2 DC.

Good input, I did consider that but this build will lean toward melee. I will get 1 spell penetration for having past life FvS and 1 DC to all spells for taking the past life Arcane Initiate. This is equivalent to having 2 more wisdom. I took so much constitution because it was so cheap, if I could trade 2 con for 2 wis I would but I can't so I will take the extra HP.

I really wish I had more feats but I don't want to lose the 10 DR for capstone.

Heya, it's Vilsandi. A few notes about the feats you took.
I'd recommend taking the feats in following order (will make leveling so much more easier and fun). I also swapped arcane initiate for empower healing. IMHO, that arcane initiate feat is a waste of your precious feat slots. 1 DC vs. major boost to raidhealing.
1. Toughness (You can also take adamantine body here and swap it for toughness later. Adamantine body will give you 2/- DR that stacks with your enhancements so low level quests will fly by)
3. Completionist
6. Empower spell or extend spell. Either is a good pick but personally I'd take extend to make divine power and divine faith last a lot longer.
9. Maximise spell
12. Quicken spell (At this point you get your bladebarrier which will make leveling childplay. Quicken, empower(or extend) and maximise will support that)
15. Power attack (In my experience, there's no point in taking this before level 8 when you get divine power or you will miss every hit with PA). Since level 9 and 12 feats are already fixed for bladebarrier requirements, PA is best to take on level 15.
18. Empower healing (50% bigger mass heals? Yes thank you!). If you're feeling confident about your raid healing skills, you can take empower/extend or go with IC: slashing once you get your epic SoS :) I'd recommend testing your healing out with empower healing first.

I completely agree with Lithic about maxing your wisdom and dropping con/cha by 2 points. Especially with the completionist feat. I have a level 20 wf fvs with base con 18, cha 12 and he has 617 hps and 2760 mana. Loosing 20 hps and 29 mana will not make a difference because that is all you're giving up.
About the spells you took. Your level 8 spell should definetly be divine power. +6 str and BAB equal to a fighter.

EDIT: Noticed one error in Lithic's post. WF max wisdom is 16. Starting with str 16, dex 8, con 16, int 8, wis 16, cha 10 is what you should do.

When did it change to not being possible ?

It used to be that the increased required xp each time made it impossible. Did this change?

TR xp caps at the dame time you stop getting extra build points. So tr 4 thru infinity has the same xp req as tr3

Empowered healing is a good feat but limited to healing. I hardly ever use the AE heal spell so I don't think it would be a great fit. I am planning on having enough spell points to recast heals and AE heals enough to make up for it. This may be a feat I change out though.

1. Toughness (You can also take adamantine body here and swap it for toughness later. Adamantine body will give you 2/- DR that stacks with your enhancements so low level quests will fly by)

Good idea, I did think of this, but I don't have issues at lower levels and by the time I hit level five I have the docent with the 5 DR on it as well as a trinket with the same. Taking toughness here has the advantage of allowing me to take the toughness enhancements as soon as they pop up. The extra HP seems to help more at the lower levels.

6. Empower spell or extend spell. Either is a good pick but personally I'd take extend to make divine power and divine faith last a lot longer.
.
I am going to do this at level 3 for my next TR. I am about to finish my 5th and number 6 is FvS so a good test as I can't take completionest this time around. I really like my commands, greater commands, symbols, destructions and the like to land as often as possible so would hate to give up this feat.

9. Maximise spell
This is about the point where I will have enough attack to really use power attack and the power attack enhancements (with ship buffs and the str tome used at level 7). Maximize would be nice but I thought I would see more DPS from PA. I may change my mind after my next TR though.

12. Quicken spell (At this point you get your bladebarrier which will make leveling childplay. Quicken, empower (or extend) and maximize will support that)
This is something I keep wavering on, I really want quicken but I want other things more. For now I am thinking I will just max my concentration and tough out the BB and heal cast times. This is very likely to change though.

15. Power attack (In my experience, there's no point in taking this before level 8 when you get divine power or you will miss every hit with PA). Since level 9 and 12 feats are already fixed for bladebarrier requirements, PA is best to take on level 15.

See level 9

Once again, I am going to try and tough this out by substituting quantity for quality. With the SP an FvS gets, that shouldn't be a problem. Not having quicken may foil this plan, only testing will tell, who wants to help me test by inviting me as your healer on raids? ;)

Takes 6 points to increase wis by two so have to take 1 from dex, 2 from con and 2 from cha to get these two, hard to take a hit to UMD, HP and SP just to get one more DC. Giving this some thought though.

Why do you want to be a pure fvs for a completionist? The extra feats for 2 levels of fighter or monk even seem to be a huge boon in my opinion. Past life wizard feat, completionist, icrit, thf, ithf, gthf, toughness, power attack, quicken, maximize, empower, past life rogue/etc. The feats add up fast. How about a 17 cleric 3 monk build that would be very sweet for a completionist healer/melee/caster? One thing to consider is handwrap builds as you progress on your trs.

You're might have problems with healing raids or epics, but sure. You can work without empowered heals if you really really want. You're going to use more heal scrolls and manapots then the average healer though.

Think bigger! Why bother casting those measly CC spells and waste mana+time on whacking stuff when you can drop one maximised/quickened/empowered bladebarrier and everything will die in seconds. I've leveled my fvs thrice. It's bloody fast with BB. BB is much better then a firewall in many ways, there is no DR that blocks BB damage for example. Everything gets a full blast which is about 250 damage on level 12!
I guess it's another thing you have to try out yourself. I've shared my build to several other people and they have all gone WHOA on level 12 and zipped their way up from there pretty quick.

From my own experience, hitting even without PA can cause problems before level 8 and since I've always tried to get the feats for BB together before level 12, I've left the PA for later. You will oneshot most of the mobs you meet during leveling anyway. Actually hitting them is another thing though :p

This is something I keep wavering on, I really want quicken but I want other things more. For now I am thinking I will just max my concentration and tough out the BB and heal cast times. This is very likely to change though.
I maxed my concentration as well for leveling purposes, but if you want to cast any BB-s you're going to need quicken. BB is so **** slow without it. I can't stress this enough but BB is the most important spell for leveling your FvS and even after that. Think amrath solo on elite for shroud ingredients.

Pardon, why do you need UMD on your fvs? I can't think of an item I would like to use on the WF FvS that requires UMD.
About changing your stats. By loosing 2 constitution and 2 charisma, you're going to loose 20 hps and 29 mana on level 20 and nothing else.. 20/600+ hps and 29/2700 mana so no argument there IMHO. You're chasing DC-s so here's a suggestion that will save you a feat slot with no harm done. You have 7 feats and wasting one of those for 1 DC seems too excessive. Change the stats instead :)

Different folks like different things, I happen to like pure builds over mixed. I have both but I like playing the pure ones more than the mixed for some reason.

Also 10 - 15 DR is really powerful. I have survived so many things I shouldn't have on my WF FvS due to that. It's like having hundreds of extra HP, in ten hits, I take 100 less damage than a mixed FvS would. 10 hits come fast and often in most of the places I play.

Once again, great input, +1 to your rep, sir.

You're right about the heal scrolls but I don't mind. I like empower spell as it works on everything, empowered healing only works on healing, so I had to choose. With all the healing enhancements (which I took due to your prior advice) hopefully I can do ok. I might look at the scroll enhancements, if I use too many heal scrolls.

I am thinking more about the Amerath lions and such that evade BBs and knock you down and other high evasion things. There are also the casters and archers that refuse to run around to hit the BBs. Be nice to slap down some CC, BB everything else and then beat anything left one by one.

I have 3 level 20 FvS and one level 20 cleric, no need to preach about the beauty of blade barriers here ;)

You are probably right on this, going to try it my way on the next TR and if that fails I can slip Fred a gem to hook me up ;)

I have forgotten to turn quicken back on after buffing enough to know how long BB takes to cast without quicken. Being as you only have to cast it once at the beginning of big fights, I want to test out how it is to live without it all the time to make room for something else. Sometimes I am not Smrt.

Pardon, why do you need UMD on your fvs? I can't think of an item I would like to use on the WF FvS that requires UMD.
Teleport scrolls, invis, weapons, armor lots more use to me then 20 jump.

Did both, changed the stat and kept the feat. That was one of the many changes. I redid my stats to reflect what I really have right now, I hope to get exceptional stat wis and str items as well as +4 tomes but not going to count on them to make my build.

Seems like you already have this wrapped up.

I've always liked to have undispellable jump on my toons to get them out of tight spots. It's so annoying to get stuck between 20 guys that you can't beat down but who would die to a BB if I only could move.
I could also argue against UMD on a fvs, but that's me :)

Not really wrapped up, I take time to mull things over. I did drop PA for quicken spell. Adjusted my enhancements (got rid of the PA ones and the resists in favor of healing ones).

This is all due to the input from this thread. I feel better about him now. Seeing both sides (my own mirrored back to me when I reread the thread) helps tremendously.

Thanks again for the help. 2.3 more levels until I try the build out without the completionest feat (TR #6).
Not real set on what I am going to take in place of completionest though.

Updated again to add back the PA stuff. I remembered why I took it in the first place, it does double damage on THW and if I am going to be limited to that, I want each hit to count ;)

Also adjusted the enhancements, kept most of the healing ones and added back the PA ones.
