Pale Creepers is accepting recruits! Just send a tell to Ochloc or Pickleford to see if you will fit in. :)
Our Guild Rules are simple:
1. Be cool/nice to each other. Being a jerk to other players/guildies not tolerated.
2. Just have fun playing the game. Don't be a ball of stress, this isn't a job and it is all digital nothingness at the end of the day.
3. Help guildies and/or other players. Don't be too shy to ask for help in Guild chat or offer help. Got a "stupid" question? ask it anyway, we don't think everyone should be born with infinite DDO knowledge.
4. Express your ideas/plans. Want to set up for eventual Guild raids or just elite runs on quests? Have some fun event you would like to run/participate in? Speak up! We will consider anything and I will try any old quest any old time.
5. We don't need or want "uber-leet" players or zerg-lovers. It is great if your character is very powerful, but stay with the group/guild... that is the purpose of our guild in the first place.
6. No sentence names allowed: ex. "Ihealz Iamcleric" Sorry.. you may be a great person and player, but this is a pet peeve of many of our guildies (esp. Me and Pickleford). You don't have to be a roleplayer or anything by any means, We just don't like this name format.
7. Raging/yelling/drama instigators need not apply. We just want to have fun. It is a game after all.
Guild benefits:
We accept brand new players and do not expect anyone to be experts. Don't even know the basic commands to the game? We will assist you and teach you. No problem.
Roleplay? We accept and support you, but don't expect all guildies to participate as some are not into RP at all. We do NOT accept cybering or the like (just FYI).
Guild level is 19 today and soon to be 20. I personally will buy the Airship, so no need to sweat giving donations or tithing plats to us unless you just feel like it later on when you have extra plat in your pocket.
Like minded, laid back players to enjoy the game with. Like the stories? Actually read the quest dialogue? I do too!! :) It is fun to enjoy the stories and the reasons why you are actually doing the quests. Some of the story lines are actually funny and or easy to make fun of :)
Grow together as a group/level up together. learn raids together without someone yelling at you and raging on you. Everyone is new at some point and we can all learn together and be patient. I won't ever boot someone for making a mistake. It happens.
No level requirements. The two guild founders just TRed to level 1 and are still in the level 2-4 range. Perfect time for new players to join and level up together.
No class requirements. Play whatever class/race/multiclass combo that you like. You want to make a "gimp" combination... sure thing, having fun is the priority, not being the MOST powerful. If power and efficiency is what you like, we support that too and can help you with advice on builds etc.
No age requirement. We don't mind if you are 13 or 73, just so long as you get along well with each other. See above rules. I have played games with kids that are more mature than some adults and some adults that act like spoiled little kids. So you will be judged by your actions and attitude and not your age. For the record, I am 42 (Ochloc: Wizard/Rogue). My wife is in the Guild at age 27 (Kassogtha: Ranger /Rogue) and (Pickleford: Barbarian/Bard) is in his late 20s. We currently have many age groups represented, but most are adults.
We will work towards making the guild "Raid Ready" and capable, but it will not be a mandatory thing for each player and we will not force anyone to Raid if they do not want to. It is simple. If you want to raid, then we will go for it and get the loots. If you don't raid, you obviously don't get raid loots. :)
That is about it for now. It looks like a lot, but it isn't really. A lot of the stuff above is redundant and falls under: Be cool to each other.
See you on Khyber!
