F2p restrictions

my friend told me a long time ago that i cant go to necropolis, or anywhere except stormwind, is this true?? am i not allowed to go there?? or can i just not do quests there?? is the whole game that locked on quests?? might have to buy vip heck..

Necro I - IV are adventure packs which are all in the same area, you can't enter this "city zone" if you don't own at least one of the packs.

Most of the quests especially after lvl 10 have to be bought for TP.

edit: there are some areas outside the stormreach districs you can enter as f2p - like Ataraxia and Searing Heights. But without packs, most of your playtime will take place in the city.

When the new update comes, you can enter Delera's Graveyard (not quests) for free.

you can enter the area where the Bank,tavern, and Auction, but the quest will be red.

You can go in to a huge empty graveyard. You just can't do any adventuring there.
