Will it stack?

I know there isnt alot of things that stack in this game but i am really curious about this one tho.

Arcane Archery (AA) contains of 3 things,

~bow
~arrows
~imbue

so an +5 bow wont stack with +5 arrows but effects like +3 flame bow will stack with +2 frost arrows.
How about Bane... this one comes in alot of flavors..

my question is will bane stack? for example. an Greater abberation bane stack with an lesser abberation bane?
and no, greater wont stack with greater... i wont ask that here.

never having run an archer, I'm interested in this. In the example above, you would not get +3 to hit/dmg and 1d6 fire and 1d6 cold? You would just get +3 and 1d6 fire? That sounds silly.

the elemental enchantments do of course stack

just the magic enchantments don't stack. so +3 and +2 are not +5. just +3

i read the op as he was asking if the magic enchantment would stack. if i got it wrong i hope i made my point clearer now...

about banes: on the attack base only the highest counts. both damage portions should however stack (but i think there are no greater bane arrows, just slayer ones and they work differently)...

of course flaming stacks with flaming burst, but this isnt really stacking those are 2 different attacks, they wont add on one number you hit, the guy take 1-6 then (assuming crit) 2-12 fire, if he has 10 FR, you r screwed :p

burst would do 2-20 (or 2d10) on a bow ;)

OP easiest way to look at it is.....look at the item modifier (+1, +2, +3, +4 etc)

Select whichever has the highest.....apply that modifier. Take all the effects capable of on one shot and write them in a line; ie: +1 Holy Longbow of Pure Good, +3 Flaming Silver Arrows. AA Acid Arrows

Will become +3 Holy Acid Flaming Silver of Pure Good ;)

... Probably, yes.

However, you'd likely not be overcoming DR of whatever creature you're worried about at that point, which would probably be worse.
