Can I ask what the appeal of these are? Even as a monk I'm unsure of their benefit.

For now...they are not great...

After U7...Shintao Monks *should* be getting the ability to bypass good DR?

Or is it Shintao will get cold iron and silver and just need a Holy or PG weapon?

I can not remember which it is?

Though these wraps combined with a Holy Burst ToD ring would be really nice.

afaik, Shintao III with a Shintao set (even without HB on the ring) will be able to bypass everything barehanded, except mithral, pierce, slash, anarchic.

Well right now the only thing that would be better then them would be met of Greater whatever bane,

For devils they are pretty good combine them with a Holy burst and Shocking burst tod ring and you will be bypassing dr and doing decent dmg.

I would trade you Aussie but Oni already has a sec of +3 Icyburst Metaline HW of Bleeding.
