I'm about to hit level 8 on my AA and really not sure what I should be wearing. I've been wearing invulnerability for a while now. I just picked up a magi robe to wear for initial buffing. I considered picking up a heavy fort robe (mainly to free up my mod fort ring to pass down to another character). Anyway, anyone know of a guide to what robes/outfits to where at what level? I'd especially be interested in named loot that I should be after. Thanks!

Yes, get a Heavy Fort robe ASAP and wear till you get Minos. A heavy fort of invulnerability is nice.

Have a Death Block robe for situational use.

I like having a Greater Fire Resistance one at lower levels

I am still wearing a death block of invulnerability on my main toon as I Added the +1AC and it matches my toons hair color perfectly.

Deathblock of Spearblock, cheap and remains effective once you start getting hit with magic arrows. Replace with Dragontouched when you build a good set.

Keep your ring until you pick up a heavy fort item.

Heavy Fort of Invunlerability doesn't exist I think - both are suffixes.

I generally go like this w/ robe users.


4 Invulnerability
6 Lesser Guard of Invulnerability
8 Guard of Invulnerability (caster)
- or Deathblock of minor X-block (caster)
- Heavy Fort (melee)
10 minor enhancement to the above ... heavy fort on melee, deathblock or invuln on caster
12 Death Block of Invulnerability (use Minos for Heavy Fort)
14 Icy if AC build
16 DT

I'll swap in Elfcraft/whatever as appropriate
