Curious as to what I should do once U7 hits. ToD will be nerfed, but not in a severely detrimental way. Light Monks get some nice new toys. U7 item list seems to bring about new options as far as gearing goes as well.

I'm wondering if this setup would be good for a WF Fire Stance TR Light Monk:

NOTE: Currently level 14, and will be LRing so feat order isn't a concern.

Gear Setup:
Main DPS Wraps: +4 Vicious Handwraps of GEOB <--big reason I plan to go Light..these w/ Shintao 3 + ToD set seems like some nice DPS to beef up light a bit.
Head: Min 2 GS Helm
Armor: Upgraded Quorforged Docent
Goggles: Epic Goggles of Time-Sensing / Tharne's Goggles (Which would be best here?)
Neck: Shintao Cord
Wrist: Epic Jidz-Tet'ka
Hands: Epic Spectral Gloves
Back: Cape of Night / Wretched Twilight / Epic Cape of the Roc (Which would be best here?)
Feet: Madstone Boots / GS Guard boots?
Waist: Knost's Belt
Trinket: Bloodstone / LotD
Ring1: Encrusted Ring w/ Shocking Burst
Ring2: Shintao Ring w/ Holy Burst

I don't currently have any epics, but I do have the non-epics that I am planning to upgrade if and when I get the tokens.

Maybe I'm seeing something odd ... do you have 3 CON items? I'd swizzle gear a bit to make sure there isn't as much overlap on one stat.

The other benefits of the items were what I was looking at not the con, but you did make me realize that quorforged + vornes is kinda silly. Reasoned I wanted Vornes was the frenzied set bonus though..is the set bonus worth slotting belt over or should I get something else?

Light path monks don't normally use madstone boots. They block your finishers, which you'll need to learn how to complete, unlike dark monks. I don't believe you would benefit from both Tharne's goggles and Wretched Twilight, as the effects shouldn't stack (could be wrong though).

Vorne's belt goes with the Gnawed ring, not the encrusted ring (which is Knost's belt). The former is +2 exc to will/reflex saves, the latter is +2 to hit (stacking). Nothing wrong with having both sets, but you'll want to coordinate your wardrobe appropriately. In most instances I would think Nost/encrusted (frenzied berserker) > Vorne/Gnawed (occult slayer)

Stunning blow is probably a waste, as you'll have two reliable stuns already. But its only costing you 22 hp.

I'd swap out the quorforged for a healing amp DT vestment. The 10hp you lose is blown away by all the extra hp your healing ki finisher would produce (with just what you listed, you'll average 8hp more eaching healing ki).

Looks like you'll be doing a lot of epic. Void 4 strike is awesome there. I'd try to fit it in. Its a lot of AP though.

Pretty much picked madstone because I don't really know anything better..maybe some GS guard boots?

Ya, my goggles and cloak slots are up for debate between a couple dif pieces. Preferably Epic Goggles of Time-Sensing and maybe Epic Cape of the Roc or Wretched to make up for the lost SA bonus from the goggles.

That's my bad I got my piece names mixed up. I meant to list Knost's. I was going for Frenzied Berserker stacking with Shintao.

Stunning blow is probably a waste, as you'll have two reliable stuns already. But its only costing you 22 hp.

That's debatable because having 3 stuns instead of 2 is just as nice especially when you need to do some stun CC in epic content.

Well I'll also be losing the benefits of the Min 2 GS helm since if I use DT I'll need to have my Minos on. Is that still worth it?

Looks like you'll be doing a lot of epic. Void 4 strike is awesome there. I'd try to fit it in. Its a lot of AP though.

Way too much AP for a WF especially. And getting the stances unlocked would require some heavier tomes that I don't have yet

Thanks for the critique! I guess the build must look alright because so far I've only had comments on gear choices. :D
