So ok - this is actually my first try to create a monk build. As my first monk, i am playing a Metaru; but i find the lack of wisdom to be too harsh. Also, since when i created my monk i had only 28 point, i was forced to go at 16, and not 18 str; and i found that the lack of 2 points in str - while noticeable when you're in group with a TRUE metaru - is not THAT bad.
Why still dark path, even with the approaching of U7? Because i'm a dps, not a muffin. I'm not here to throw mass heals at ungrateful peoples, nor to buff them with things they don't need anyway. Another question would be why i took brute fighting. I pug a lot, and from level 18+ i find myself doing "tank" duties - like tanking/kiting sally in vod/tod, or grabbing in the shroud a miniboss and drag it into a corner. While i could do this without the threat buffs, the aggro would be less reliable.
