I had some bacon in the oven other day and I forgot about it. Needless to say it was completetly burnt.
And guess what, I still ate it.

If you didn't know it was bacon when it went into the oven you would have had no idea what it was after I remembered it was in there.

I don't know about the chocolate part, but I've seen country-fried bacon on the Travel Channel. It's battered, deep fried, and served with country gravy for dipping. For when you just don't care anymore, but it sure looked delicious.

mmmm bacon cake....
8 rashers streaky bacon
230 g self-raising flour
25 g butter
75 g Cheddar cheese, grated
150 ml milk
20 g Worcestershire sauce to glaze
1 pinch(es) of salt
Method
Preheat oven to 200°C.
At first only grill three rashers of bacon until crisp and then cut into small pieces.
Sieve together the flour and salt into a bowl and then rub in the butter. Add 15 g of the cheese and all of the crumbled bacon.
Mix the milk and Worcestershire sauce together and add to dry ingredients.
Mix to a soft dough and roll out to an 18 cm circle .Brush with milk and cut into eight wedges.
Arrange on a buttered and floured baking tray in a circle with overlapping edges. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Bake in the oven at 200°C for 30 minutes.
Finally cut the remaining bacon in half and roll up. Place rolls on skewer and grill till crisp. Use as garnish.
Preparation time: ca. 30 min
Bacon Chocolate cake:
Ingredients:
Cake:
* 3 eggs
* 2 cups sifted flour
* I ¼ teaspoons baking soda
* 2/3 cup shortening
* 1 teaspoon salt
* I ¼ teaspoons vanilla extract
* 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
* 1 1/3 cup sugar
* 1 1/4 scalded milk
* ½ lb. of bacon (or you know, however much bacon you want)
Frosting:
* 2 ¾ cups powdered sugar
* 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
* 5 tablespoons evaporated milk
* 6 tablespoons butter (Try taking it out of the fridge before you start baking so that it softens at room temperature)
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 teaspoons Bacon Salt (or add to taste… yes this recipe calls for Bacon Salt because it is AWESOME.)
Making It! :
First, fry up your bacon, preferably to a crispy texture for this recipe. When it’s done, crumble it and set it aside. (The side of your bacon bits is up to you, just be mindful that it’s going in your cake mixture.)
Line the bottom of two greased cake pans with wax paper, then grease the paper. Sift the cocoa powder with 1/3 cup of sugar, pouring the milk in gradually, and stir until it’s blended well. Set this aside to cool.
Now sift together the flour, the other cup of sugar, and the salt and baking soda. Add the shortening and half of the cocoa mixture you made earlier. Beat the mixture. Now add the eggs, the vanilla, and the rest of your cocoa. Beat that for another two minutes before adding in your crumbled bacon. Try to get it evenly spread out in the cakes before you pour it into your greased pans.
Now bake it at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. When it’s done, let it cool for 5 minutes before you take the cakes out of the pans. Let them cool while you make the choco-bacon frosting!
Mix the cocoa and powdered sugar in a medium sized bowl and set that aside. In a larger bowl, cut your butter into inch-size pieces and mix them with a spoon until they’re smooth, gradually mixing in your sugar/cocoa mixture and the evaporated milk. Blend in vanilla and then add your Bacon Salt (probably best to do this to taste.) Beat the mixture until it’s light and fluffy, adding milk and sugar if you need to for the right consistency.
Make sure the cakes are cooled before you stack and frost them. Hopefully they’ll be chockful of Bacon-chocolately goodness.
The best of every world :P

Time for a Bacon weaved Fatty
1 or as many as you can eat jimmy deans sausage logs flatten out and then stuffed with anything you would like.
I stuff mine with scramble eggs, onion, cheese, ect.......
then roll up log and get a pound of bacon and make a bacon weave, once the weave is complete wrap it around the stuffed sausage log and then place on a BBQ smoker with some hickory wood and or any fruit wood. smoke for about 3 hours or until 165 inside, and then enjoy
I can eat one of those by myself. but will have to eat healthy for a month or so afterwards to even out the fat intake lol

One of the best things i've tried so far is something a coworker makes. It's more or less, a bit of fajita meat coupled with a bit of jalepeno - wrap in bacon and grill it up ~
We've also experimented with shrimp and venison in place of fajita and the results were excellent.
Now i've never tried this, but it's definitely on the list of things to do before I die (or get married, whichever comes first).

just need to figue out how to deepfry that!
i remember a foot long hotdog that was stuffed with chocolate, wrapped in bacon and deep fried.
there was also a Twinky on a stick that was deep fried, coated with white chocolate and topped with whipped cream.
i also remember seeing doughnut burgers, deep-fried butter, a doughnut that was coated in chocolate then deep fried and put on a stick, and salad on a stick.
if i ever sell food at a fair i will probably make deep-fried salad on a stick.

My first thought was 'Last Caress' by the Misfits. I'd post the lyrics but they might offend some people. :(
