Help a semi-noob out plz (barb help)

Well ive been playing this game for about a month now and I have a level 10 (10k till 11) dwarf barbarian based on Shade's Max DPS build that i really like playing. Lately i have been thinking about weapons, and I have been going with a greataxe so far. I know that greataxes are probably my best bet, but my real question is, what kind of greataxe? Right now Im running with a +4 flaming greataxe of shatter +2, a +4 Frost Greataxe, a +4 Acid Greataxe of deception, and a +4 flaming greatclub of shattermantle (for skellies). I dont know whether these weps are good or not, or whether elemental weps are better than other weps or what. Basically im just really confused as to what weps i need, what weps are good for barbs or anything like that. I know my question is kind of vague, so sorry in advance.

P.S. I am also running with a +4 Mithral Fullplate, so when should I be looking to switch over to robes?

Also any help with figuring out shade's build with the limited resources of a noob would be helpful.

If you are good-aligned, +5 of pure good (and +5 holy of pure good at L12) are nice all-purpose weapons. Otherwise, just roll with +4/+5 holy, with something like +5 shock or acid for non-evil monsters.
At L10 you can also start gathering some specialty weapons:
- disruption
- paralyzing
- vorpal (although on a barb it's not very useful until later)
- greater elemental bane
- greater construct bane (ideally an adamantine or metalline Maul, but any two-handers will be enough to start)
- a Maul of greater undead bane for skeletons
- a smiting falchion for constructs

That should be enough to survive until you can craft some axes in the Shroud.

Unfortunately, i am not good aligned, Shade's build suggests true neutral or chaotic neutral so no late game level penalties at the cost of not being able to use good weps at low levels. So I should go with a +4 or 5 holy greataxe and a +4 or 5 elemental greataxe for anything not evil aligned? and i am almost lvl 11 so how do i start getting some of the speciality weapons? ty for your time.

Also should I be looking to switch over to robes soon?

You'll probably buy greater banes on the AH, unless you're lucky enough to pull some by yourself. You'll probably switch to robes when you start running GH quests (around L12-13-14).

Do you have access to delaras? Because if you do you should farm a carnifex asap.
