I've decided to give away one of my Large Devil Scales in a competition. It will last for 6 days and there will be a maximum of 3 clues given. The first clue will be revealed in this post with the subsquent clues given every 2 days. If no one solves it before the end of 6 days then no one gets the Large Devil Scale at all. :-)
The first reply post in this thread to correctly answer will win and it isn't something that is a part of DDO.
What does the following sequence of letters represent?
TMPTWOKTSFSTVHTFFTUCGFCIN
And Clue Number One is:
10
May the best humanoid win!
* The competition has been won by cdbd3rd! Congrats! It is the initials of the names of the first 10 Star Trek movies. If you could send me a pm with a character name cdbd3rd I'll send you the Large Devil Scale when I get up in the morning, I was about to hop into bed when I decided to check if there was any answers. I'm in a different timezone so it's late here :-)

Serious long shot here but worth a try even without proper calculations or processing this logically.....but...
Is that an alpha representation of an ISBN-10 Number?
*EDIT* Nah...prob a thoughtful guess but horribly wrong, I'm guessing lol

Is the letter brown or the number Abraham Lincoln a viable answer to anything you've asked?
Is it also wrong that I read it a few times before I realized that wasnt a word and was reading it as Tempestuous?
Also why can I not pronounce the letter R?
The mystery thickens.....the gravy of life.

Well, I don't have a character on Ghallanda, so I'd have had no claim on the scale anyway. I just like quizzes. ;-)
Well, OP - gonna give us another?

Just started breaking it down into chunks, running em thru a search. TMP and TWOK had me on the right path, then it all just fell together. Had I *started* on the Wiki, coulda saved myself some brain cells since they had em all listed out nice & perty. :D

Internet trivia is simply "who can search the fastest with the most efficiency."
Not that having trivia is a bad thing, it pretty much needs to be something insanely obscure or severely encrypted for it to not be solved before more than a handful even see it.

Having a night job so that the only current distraction is a bowl of cereal helps, too. ;)

Yup - just passed the list on a post-it note to my officemate and he got it in five seconds, sans internet. Some people see patterns better than others, and some are bigger Trek fans.

I guess all that pron surfing has dulled my searching senses... And I'm a Trekkie veteran, too!! Jeez... Back to surfing, I suppose... :D
Very impressive, nonetheless...
