prefer it not to be a fighter as I have a pure TWF fighter and want something different.
I have 32 point build unlocked, but no monk or WF

The obvious choices are paladin or barbarian, then, unless you wanted a battle caster. Did you want a pure DPS build, or were you thinking of making a tank?

honestly not sure what I want to do.
I played the amazon build on a TR for my fighter and I did enjoy that. So maybe do that again but with half-orc? Or maybe go full barbarian? I have never done a full Barb before.
Not real keen on paladins.
but I do have a few nice THF weapons sitting in the bank and an extra character slot that I am not using at the moment...
My other characters are a pure rogue build (lvl6) and a pure fvs (lvl 19) and of course my pure fighter

Pure level 20 bard
Stats: 18str (+levelups), 16con, 14cha
Feats: Toughness/Power Attack, Extend, Skill Focus: Perform or Weapon Focus: Slashing (depending on Virtuoso or Warchanter...swap this to WF: Slashing when you want to go Warchanter but Virtuoso is easier for leveling purposes), Maximize, Improved Critical: Slashing, Quicken, last feat is your choice...I would take Empower Healing for even more punch to your heals.
Enhancements: Max out atk/dmg to songs. Take human str enhancement. If you can fit it take human con to get more toughness enhancements. Max out Song Magic and make a decent contribution to the crit lines as well. Get as much human healing amp as you can afford.
Basically this character deals decent dps utilizing THF while twitching. You can choose to not twitch but your dps takes a bit of a hit due to not having the THF line of feats. The main point though is to get maximum dps out of just two feats taken specifically for dps purposes: Power Attack and Improved Critical: Slashing. Our high str allows us to at least do decent dps and the feat/enhancement selection makes us a very viable healer (especially if you can get some good gear, get a GS sp item, con-opp item, the Torc, and as many mnemonic clickies as you can manage). Staying pure allows us to at least do decent cc with irresistible dance.
If you're looking for top dps this is not your build. If you're looking for top healing this isn't your build. And if you're looking for versatile crowd control this isn't your build either. But this build will get you non-negligible dps, top healing until your sp's run out (that's the only spot we're lacking compared to a healing focused bard), and at least two good cc options (fascinate/mass suggestion and irresistible dance).

I not sure I want to try bard, seems like I am trying to do too many things at once and although some are able to play this way and do good, it is not me.

If you want a no-thought, hack-n-slash guy for U7 then I'd probably go WF'd Barbarian. You can't be exhausted, you don't get negative levels, you'll have the same THF bonuses as the Half-Orc's. Yes, you get less str (I believe it will be 4 points) but if you truly are looking for the easy button THF dps U7 won't be changing that part - it's still WF'd Barbarian.

Go with the Paladin.
THF pally's just rock. Take hunter of the dead till 12 to rock the incorps without having to swap weapons. At 12 respec to KotC and destroy everything from there on.
I still giggle every time I get a crit simte.
human 17str, 14 con, 17 cha (rest 8's)
or slightly less optimal
drow 16 str, 12 con, 18 cha (rest 10s)
Or go the dwarf kensai great axer route, gets old quick as it is a one trick pony and not very self sufficient but seeing 100+ damage crits at level 6 is exciting but kinda trails off from there.
Then for challenge and fun there is always a quarterstaff acrobat. That is a ton of fun, but since your looking to use banked weapons I'm guessing none are Qsticks.

This is about as dead-simple as a barbarian gets: max STR & CON, focus enhs mostly on DPS & HPs. This would probably work better as WF (or half-orc) and maybe dwarf, but you asked for human, so human it is.

Thanks for the build. I might wait and see what half-orc and half elf looks like, but I don't have WF and not likely to ever get them as I just don't like WF. I know they can make some awesome characters but I prefer to play what I like.
Right now it is a toss up between barbarian and Paladin.
Thanks

No Warforged I'd go Half-Orc barbarian. The changes to THF line look great for them. You'll need to carry around Lesser Restore pots for clearing exhaustion after you rage but outside of that you don't have any extra clicking needed compared to the WF'd.

ya I am almost certain to go with this. Either human or maybe half-orc.

mmmm what skills should I get? Balance seems like a good choice but beyond that I don't know. Maybe intimidate? but I will get 4 points per level to spend on something

Shade's advice (http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=199947) is Balance, Jump, and Spot (despite Balance & Spot being cross-class) with a rank of Tumble for good measure. As a human you'll get extra skill pts, which you can put into Intimidate as well.
Half-orc will almost certainly be the new race of choice among max DPSers.
