i have a lvl 7 monk with 2 lvls fighter, i am a dark monk, and have the whirling steel feat. i am at a crossroads on what to do. i was trying to build a samurai style of character. i alrdy have a lvl 10 dark monk, so that path is alrdy being played. any ideas.

Well that depends on:
Do you Dual wield them, do you already have those feats?
What are your stats?
If you dual wield ranger 6 -> tempest I sounds good...
or more levels on fighter and go for kensai II
or fighter 6 -> kenai I, Ranger 7 -> Tempest I and monk 7 (for better healing amp)
but normally you should plan out you char before leveling him or her too high.

I'm going to vote for kensai 2 and a level of something else (rogue perhaps) since you want to be samurai like. Though if you were willing to reroll or LR +1 you'd get more benefit out of the rogue level by taking it at first level.

he has str 18, dex 18 con 14, int 13 , wis 19 and cha -8 with no stances or buffs. i have the spring attack and pre-reqs as well. how would 11 lvls of rogue pan out? or would the expectation of dealing with traps and locks be too much( i also have a 11lvl trap monkey and i know how the prty depends on a thief). I was thinking of building off my high stealth and hide stats (15/22) and work on a very mobile assasin? or would the better approach be the kensai II pay off better.
