28 Point Monks? Dark Side?

Basically, I'm asking if it's possible to make a 28 pt dark side Monk. Preferably Ninja Spy.

And the reason I'm asking this is because I'm going to be buying Monks soon...

...but I won't be able to afford 32 point builds at the same time. I'm kinda stingy with my money, what with student loans to pay, so yeah. I'm gonna be buying the cheapest points package which, when combined with my Favor TP I already have saved up, would give me enough TP to buy Monk.

So then... is this possible?

The INT on Rockan is for Combat Expertise, IIRC; if you don't want CE (or the extra skill pts), you can dump-stat INT.

Actually, I changed my mind, a Wis-based Monk might be a bit too complex for a Monk newbie like me.

i would suggest going more str, not taking weapon finess and then taking stunning blow. with dwarf tactics that dc will be higher, your ac wont be great but if you aren't tanking then it doesn't matter so much.

So, is it easy to get a +2 dex tome by level 8? And how would you change the current stat distribution?

if you have a level 20 that can trade for or buy with plat (or just have turbine points) then a +2 dex tome is easy to get.

if you're a brand new player and dont want to spend the turbine points on a tome, acquiring a +2 tome wont happen for a long time (lvl 16+ if you're lucky, impossible before)
