I have a Turbine account, obviously, but I am only subscribed to DDO.
How do I get subscribed to LOTRO too? Been waiting all day to try it..
I hear the PvP system there has monsters.

I'm having the same problem, have downloaded the LOTRO client. But there is no way to add a LOTRO F2P account to my existing Turbine account. None of the FAQ's on the LOTRO site even mentions this problem or even how to add a F2P LOTRO account.
Was really looking forward to trying it out.
The problem, I found, is you need to add a LotRO product key to your Turbine account page -- and for whatever reason, it seems like Turbine doesn't have a place to generate them/hand them out (at least that I found). Luckily, you can use the beta keys at Gamespot.com (need to sign up), then add the key to your Turbine account.
Note: I don't think the 1000 free TP code you also get from gamespot works, but good luck trying it :)
Further note: Man LotRO servers are laggy...you think DDO has it bad.

That did the trick, thanks a lot for that Delt. It's now added to my turbine account, just have to wait till I get home to log in and try the game.

This does not work for me, as it requires you to sign up on gamespot. I recently started to actually read the stuff that I am supposed to accept upon signing in to services like this, and each and every time I get annoyed big time by the leeway corporations are granting themselves in a manner that almost noone will ever be aware of, because noone actually reads what they are accepting. Gamespot is no better - in fact it is worse than anything I've seen yet, as they are admitting to track your browsing and use this information however they see fit, including sharing it with certain third parties. Note that there is no guarantee at all that these third parties will likelwise 'protect' your privacy - for all you know they might be selling it to the ID-theft mafia.
No way I'm signing up for these kind of leeches!
Note that creating a new account does not work either. And other people are having the same problem. Links are bugged as hell it seems.
P.S.:
Update: I just succeeded creating a new account using Firefox. So only IE seems to be bugged (and I only actually used IE because the launcher automatically opens it whenever you click on a link - I don't normally use IE on my system!)

It would be helpful if you answered the phone or replied to emails. I spent half an hour yesterday listening to the hold muzak before I had to stop. All I want is a product key...

Web inquiries (with the correct type selected) generally get a response within 1-2 business days. Hold times today are VERY short. Some days have longer hold times than others (Mondays and sometimes Tuesdays). We answer all calls in the order they are received.

I played LOTRO...it rocks you really should get it installed as fast as you can. The PvP is much more full and balanced than DDO.

The PVP in LOTRO is a lot like DDO but better.

You should run, not walk, to sign up for LOTRO - I hear there are no slayer arrows to get punked by. TRUE STORY.

You are the monsters. It is the Freeps vs Creaps as they call it. (free peoples)
But you have to earn the right to be a creap.
