COME ON!!! Don't tell me Agonesseon server is up and running and available to play and then since I am F2P try to log on SEVERAL times and just get

At least have the decency to tell me server XX is available to play but is full. (hint all you F2P try another server)
Maybe you can tell us which servers are available and NOT FULL. So we don't spend 20 minutes trying to log into 3 different servers and get the SAME MESSAGE AS ABOVE.............SO FRUSTRATING.......

Sometimes the servers are down, not full. Nobody can log on then and your client will play that trying game.


Sometimes there are too many people logging on.

In that case you'll get the "Error #5005 Server Queue" message i think.


Grab a coke, enjoy a good book (maybe TV if no book available) and try not to think too much about DDO.

If the servers are down then I can live with that. just tell me. don't say Argonsseson is "available" to play and then let me try to log on and get frustrated.....

HAHA! After posting this I thought I would try again.... I got "successful login" and the game went to the Character generation page, I choose which character to play...... and then............

The way of computer networks: when you cannot connect, your client often does not know the reason why. Perhaps it doesn't know, and so it retries to hopefully get you in. Patience is a virtue. Public displays of a lack of patience not only lack virtue, but they also give people a good means of negatively judging you.

Exactly, consider it a divine sign that you should be cleaning the bathroom like you said you would instead of playing DDO. ;)

I would find it useful to have some kind of indicator of how full the log in que and the server itself were, though. Not that I have very many problems as a premium player. I think I have only ever been denied logins on really busy days, like Holiday weekends (maybe three times since I started playing last Dec, two after the Euro migrate and one when I was still F2P).

When this happens to me (Attempt 1 of 2....), I find that it's a connection problem on my side. I play on campus with multiple network connections, and sometimes they interfere with each other (don't ask me how Windows Vista does it, but it does). So i have to open up the Network Sharing Centre, and check each sub-connection there to ensure that they are sub-connections to the same, singular wireless network.

OK, I feel like I need to explain a little more of the circumstances since I got the "judge you negatively" comment.

My friends and I agree to play Argonsseson server. We ALL had the same problem of logging in. I did exercise patience and made some coffee knowing we were all going to XP grind...Wait 5 minutes....Try again. No good. Try again. No Good. After about 20 minutes of trying to log in with no success, I call my friends and tell them I cant log in. They are in and Playing..... all F2P by the way.

I post the original post. I try again. I Almost log in.. (get to character page choose character..loading...please wait...DING...disconnect...)

I try Cannith..I get in no problem. Hit a few quests...log out and try Argonessoson.....Almost log in..get to character page...loading..please wait....DING...disconnect.

Call friends. They have been playing Argo but are having some lag, one got DC and then got back on...another got DC and still cant get on...

Why cant TURBINE tell us at what CAPACITY the servers are running at? Or at least give some indication of what is going on. How about a thread in the forums we can go to and report this issue? That way I could at least go to forums and see 307 other players having same problem as me and then i would chill out understanding that this is not a PC or internet connection problem on my end. If I go the forum and see that only 7 others have problem with Argo server, then I would know to try again or that i am have back luck (go do your chores comment)

What I am asking for, (besides ranting a little out of frustration) is for Turbine to give me some INDICATION of the problem. That way I everyone will know what is going on.

Still, could be somewhat of a connection issue on your end, and the ends of your friends. I know that lately, my client's been having the same problem as you (with getting "login attempt X of Y" and such.)

Just continue to be patient, and if it continues... maybe issuing a ticket (if you're vip or within the 45[?] day period of Customer service with premium) or asking in a calm and patient manner. Also, like others have said, try checking your connection, just in case.
