Well i have been after a bloodstone for quite some time, ransacked both chests at least 7 times (i am sure this is a familiar story for many in this game)

so had another run today, no luck. thought 1 more then (as i needed to go out) when this happened

To me that was the more impressive achievement than the Bloodstone.

lol i'm kind of a slyer addict :) especially as i almost exclusively solo'd up to lvl 15/16

9000 slayer was easy (especially farming the undead), though the scorrow was a pain. but 2 bloodstones in one run must be a record.

was gutted the general wasn't up so i could get another spell storing ring lol (yeah i know i'm gready)

yeah, but i think thats not that uncommon for a free player....

anyway, gratz to the op. now get hopping and find me some too. they keep on beeing elusive to my account. several chars ransacked every week...

funny, i also solo most the way up yet i never do slayer. i make it a point to reach 20 without spending a single hour doing slayers, even on my TRs :D

grats on 2 bloodstones in the same run! my best was 2 back to back runs from the first chest (i rarely check the 2nd unless going for the spell storing ring as well).

Oh now I see it. He meant 2 Bloodstones. Sorry but I'm blind to the obvious.

I had been running Sands of Menechturan from start 2007 -> to end 2009 without ever looting a Bloodstone.

Then I made a Monk, and looted 1 Bloodstone one day, from Palumak. Then very next day looted another Bloodstone from Thirsty. Hehehe.

Its true. Bloodstones are like Bus's. None for ages, then two come along at once! :D

Hmm, I must be crazy then 'cause all my slayers are completed (except Red Fens which I just bought). Working on GH now. I find them enjoyable and it really lets me learn the map.

Got all slayers in Orchard and sands, GH is a pian as there aren't that many mobs in there, i have about 5500 total.
Have about the same in the Vale, not huuge amounts in Reavers.

I like doing slayers/rares you can get some decent loot in alot of them and it's easier (imo) to do solo than quests.

Congrats, two in one run is very very very lucky!!

I haven't gotten one for weeks now :( But I don't farm it as much as I used to anymore, should really get back into that again :)
