my thoughts...

1) how come long time VIP customers do not get any turbine or ddo long sleeve t-shirts?

2) half elf, the big surprise. Half orc, the I cannot believe they are finally here surprise..
1/2 orcs - "the biggest strongest brutes in our game".
1/2 elves - " the best looking youthful characters in the game"

3) level 6 raid makes a little sense when he says 'it introduces players to" ddo raiding. This is good since I think the raids here are a bit different than other games like <ahem> that other game.

4) "how to top underwater combat versus the sa-gar-in"....lol... The interviewer is not a ddo player..

5) biggest update of DDO EU...

6) from the kingdom a Droamm, a new faction...comes a medusa ambassador.

7) big bad medusa at end fight....half orc monsters.....new version of classic monsters like ogres (and more)...in droamm gear.

8) ingame event - deleras graveyard...'around' halloween.. The Mabar festival, the festival of endless night. He pronounces deleras as 'dell-uh-ras' where I always say 'dah-leer-uhs'....

9) backpack inventories....listing...cool... auction search... all looks and sounds cool.

10) dx11....hireling AI upgrades, lots of polishing on bugs.

11) dx11- reactive water and new lighting 'ambient occlusion'

12) halforc tons of 'looks', most customizable race in the game.

13) fernando will be true reincarnating his main character into one 'of these guys' (1/2 orcs).... Great, one more noob dev in my raids.... :)

14) apparently 'the female 1/2 elves are very attractive'.. perk up there youngster.

15) new color schemes in the UI like auction house, etc..


16) not to spoil any new content...but 'Time travel' and the 'market tent'


17) Nat Gann...."what befell him?"

18) Fireworks show at the end.

19) reference to an old show by the mobs in a big fight with a 'gnarly boss monster'
(abishai's do language from a cartoon...but which one?)

20 ) fernanado actually uses gnarly twice in this interview...kate shakes her head.

21) the new raid is also designed to really help new players understand the ins and outs of a DDO raid

22) how to top underwater combat? Time travel...Time travel to a really awesome historical event in stormreach's past.

Sooo....with the live event tied to the Festival of Mabar in Delara's Graveyard around Halloween, are we finally going to be able to get Witches and Wizards Hats?? :D

I predict it will not accomplish that to any substantial degree. I also suspect that new players will continue to perceive buying Devil Assault to be a waste of points (until their characters advance well past 6th). Time will tell.

I disliked that they all have the same torso shape, although it's understandable that this is something hard to vary.

They also looked kind of cartoonish to me I cant have Fui running around like a game that wont be named character /puke!

Gotta say, Update 7 looks pretty awesome. Lots of nice stuff all coming at the same time. Pure win!
