Whats Your Top 5 Epic Raid Builds ?

When you're trying to get an epic raid together, what would be your top 5 builds you look for ?


Also. whats your epic build?

3 healers (maybe 2).
1 bard.
1 (or maybe 2) good casters.
Sufficient DPS.

Seeing how both current epic raids are little more than a glorified beatdown, you don't need very much. Dragon more so than DQ, since at least in DQ you need to be on your toes when she goes berserk.


Epic builds:
Standard DPS fighter, barbarian, paladin, etc.

There's no magic formula, it's just a continuation of regular content, but with the lower end of player skill and builds cut off.

alright I'll bite, the top 5 builds I'm glad to have in my epic raids are as follows

Pure WF sorc
Pure Fighter
Battle FVS (type negligable)
Battle bard w/ hp (type)
Pure KOTC pally.

Of course player gear etc matters more than anything, and I never ever decline any build.

Many multiclasses take away a small amount of their "main skillset" to invest into a "secondary skillset". Almost no 6 player party is balanced in a perfect way for every quest they run, so thats often an excellent tradeoff.

In a 12 player epic raid, you usually have all bases covered. Also, due to the nature of the D20-System, every point counts - for example in a normal run its not that important that the bard has the best +attack-song possible. In an epic raid, it can mean the difference between turning power attack on or off.
