I've always thought GS Heavy Picks were superior to dwarven axes, simply because the x4 critical multiplier will multiply strength bonus (very important) in addition to the burst damage. Sure, there aren't very many good epic heavy picks available, but you really only need a set of various green steels to be successful.

1 - he's a Dwarf giving him +2/+2 to Axes
2 - due to the high base damage of DAs they are better for fighting monsters with fort
3 - there are no epic heavy picks

How come i have 27 STR base at Level 20 if i started with 18+5lvl ups+2tome = 25, where did 27 come from or is there +2 to str when you reach lvl20 that I don't know about.?

The capstone gives +2 str, check what type of bonus it is.

Ah yea, I forgot about that. what do you mean what type of bonus?

Edit: yes I took Barbarian Might Enhancement at level 20 which increases STR by 2. Thanks.

I was thinking to take +1 STR Tome only, since taking a +2 would leave me with an odd str number (18 + 5 level ups +1 str tome + 6 item = 30 str) instead of (18 + 5 level ups +2 str tome + 6 item = 31 str) or take +2 tome and have +1 exceptional STR on ToD ring which will even out into 32 Str (so basically staying Odd STR until I can wear ToD encrusted ring or Staying even until I can wear the Ring and taking +2 tome with it which will become even?

Just eat a +2 str tome and add or remove a rank of power rage enhancement depending on the gear you acquire.

yes i think i'll take the +2 str tome at lvl7 and remove 1 rank of power rage which leaves me with +3 to str, that should even out str when im raged (18 base +6 item +2 tome + 5lvls "+11 when raged" = 42 str) . Until i can wear the +1 exceptional str tod ring, ill get the last power rage enhancement (18 base +6 item +2 tome + 5lvls +1 excep "+12 when raged" = 44 str) that's my best bet.

By the way when i wear the FB set (encrusted ring + Knost's belt) does the +2 str that i get from the bonus set stack with the +1 excep str on the ring making it +3 str in total? or does it just add 1 str for having the set and becomes 2 str total?

Are you in a guild? If yes, you shouldn't need to to worry about odd numbers anymore because of the ship buffs you can get.

Keep in mind that guild shrine buffs will cap out at +2 for each attribute once level 50+ guilds (eventually) start to show up.

The FB set bonus of +2 str +2 con stacks with everything.

*Edit* Just to clarify, similar bonuses don't stack. For example, the Encrusted ring and Kyosho's ring both give Exceptional Strength +1, but even when wearing both, you would only get +1 strength total because they both have Exceptional Strength +1.

I'm sure there is a list of what bonuses stack with what somewhere on the forums. I hope this helps.

So that means FB set will give out +3 str & +2 con once equiped, nothing to worry about then, fair enough.
